Where do I start with Nine Inch Nails? I really dig their industrial sound.
Where do I start with Nine Inch Nails? I really dig their industrial sound
chronologically
start with pretty hate machine if you want more electronic stuff, start with downward spiral if you want more rock-oriented stuff
literally this
All the albums all worth listening to so go nuts kid
Every album is like a whole different sound, a whole different vibe
maybe just watch some videos and see what appeals more to you
My chart
>I want angry, loud, guitar NIN!
Broken
The Downward Spiral
With Teeth
The Slip
Not The Actual Events
>I want NIN but more electronic.
Pretty Hate Machine
Year Zero
Hesitation Marks
Add Violence
>can I get both?
The Fragile
>start with downward spiral if you want more rock-oriented stuff
but Broken
not OP but where should I start if I liked this?
the subtle downtempo stuff is really nice but I don't think you get a lot of that with NIN.
Hesitation Marks, Ghosts I-IV, Add Violence
>industrial sound
It's hardly even industrial, if you've listened to bands they were inspired by. I hate to say it, but their sound is more proto-nu-metal.
sweet, thank you
>musician that goes to the gym
Aaaaaand into the trash it goes
The Downward Spiral is asbolutely industrial-ish.
>nu-metal.
Never
well he used to be a skinny coke addict but I guess it really sucked living that way
How does that make any sense
I agree.
do this
broken is some pretty good whiplash
If a man cares about his body rather than improving his spirit and mind hes only good for making rap for kangz
As are Broken, Fixed, parts of Year Zero (Violent Heart in particular), parts of Not The Actual Events
Start at the base and work your way to the tip
>;)
He improved both his body and mind.
>implying skinny people are necessarily any less vain than muscular people
Listen to The Fragile because it's their best and most diverse work. It gives you a sample of everything Trent does throughout his discography. If you like the heaviness go back, if you like the electronics go forward.
Then watch their live performances on Youtube from 1994 and 2008 - 2013. Nine Inch Nails are so much better live than on the studio albums.
Thanks, I like the more electronic NIN.
