It's my favorite, but people just don't like it because of the mix. I don't think you need the bass to make it a complete album. I feel it makes the riffs a lot more sharp and adds to the theme of the album.

Load is unironically better, and Load is actually a classic.

Discuss.

yes

hey man nice patrician rollins reaction caption

this album destroyed metallica
Everything before was so good and then they released this turd

Dyer's Eve is their best song

Oh wow. Thanks dude. You can save mine if I can save yours.

>metallica
>good ever

their only good album was "how many diamond head riffs can we steal?" the ambum

Be nice. I take it you’re a Megadeth fanboy?

You're thinking of the black album. This album is not significantly different from their earlier work in anyway, their first 4 are all consistent in tone content and quality writing and performance.
>aint my biatcha
>king nothing
>bleeding me
>hero of the day
>until it sleeps
Load is a cool fucking album, and would be fucking fantastic if they shortened the length of the songs by about 2 minutes each

they had a couple of good albums but not a fanboy. More into death metal of the incantation/immolation variety, first wave BM and doom. Not into much thrash outside of Kreator desu

Load getting some recognition, finally

At least we can all agree St. Anger is their best post-Black Album

Yes.

but user, this is their best album

No one does in the first place.

Still haven't listened to their newest album

It's what I call Garage Metal. Probably the most straight forward metal album ever.

Is this supposed to be your ranking? The fuck's wrong with you?

oh and black album would be between reload and death magnetic

Justice is great musically.
St Anger has nice crunchy riffs coming from what sounds like a rusty amp
Kill Em All has a straight forward hardcore punk vibe to it.

RTL and MOP used to be my favourite alums during my 'metal years' but then I got sick of them. James' shit vocals on RTL, plus I don't like the whole atmosphere about it. MOP would be better if it didn't have that whole 'echo' thing about it. Kind of sounds like they recorded it in an empty hall. They're still 7/10 albums though.

I actually undertand some of your points. Justice is my favorite too (maybe tied with RTL) and I don't like Master very much. It's extremely overrated if nothing else, but putting it at their WORST together with Ride is just contrarian bullshit and you know it. St. Anger has a few good riffs but the quality stops there.

its not just the bass, go listen to Blackened and tell me those drums sound good

I second this

I do. It just adds to the electric/sharp sound and the vocals. I think it is the reason why One transitioned so well.

Invisible Kid is metallica worst song

Came here to shove this down OP's fucking faggot throat.

I beat a guy up the other day for claiming MoP was Tallica's best album. Fucking faggot's lucky I let him live.

I don't think I've ever been that angry before.

Kill 'Em All isn't that good. It should be a Megadeth album anyways, seeing as how Dave wrote most of it.

Not the mix for me, The Shortest Straw - To Live is to Die is mostly fillertallica

Load has always been such a groovy beast of an album to me, it's kinda got a proto butt rock vibe sometimes (more on Reload) but it's good here. I like the sound they had in the late 90's

Reminder Lars killed Cliff

I wouldn't necessarily disagree, although they have songs that are just as bad like Mama Said, Low Man's Lyric, and Don't Tread On Me

ALBUM CLOSER POWER RANKINGS

1. Dyers Eve
2. Spit Out the Bone
3. Damage Inc.
4. Fixxxer
5. The Call of Ktulu
6. The Outlaw Torn
7. All Within My Hands
8. Metal Militia
9. My Apocalypse

Mama Said is a decent country ballad, Low Man's Lyric is at least quite original. Don't Tread on Me sucks though yeah

I think their worst song is probably one of the filler tracks off of Reload, Slither is probably the worst one

Idk about The Shortest Straw, but I kinda get where you are coming from with To Live is to Die. It's long, but they probably wanted another Call of Ktulu esq song to tribute Cliff. I still like it even if it's not as intense.

Quads of truth.

stand aside plebbos

The Outlaw Torn
Fixxxer
Spit Out the Bone
Damage Inc
Dyers Eve
Rebel of Babylon (yeah that's right I'm counting it)

>Can we stop pretending ...And Justice For Jason isn't Metallica's best album?
ftfy

undeniable truth. The documentary they filmed alongside it should be packed into every copy of the CD. required watching imo.

you dummy, that's dave mustaine's best album

frantic is actually a banger of an opening track. St. Anger just has a tendancy to ramble on with the song structure. The fan made remake of St. Anger is the true version imo. Perfect in every way.

dont really like fuel as an opener but i like the rest

Why did they leave Rebel of Babylon off of Death Magnetic and put in shit like Cyanide instead
