You just have shit taste honestly

Why would you think you wouldn't love it?

You some kind of fag or something?

Big Trouble in Little China

>John Carpenter
>Kurt Russell doing John Wayne
>cult classic
>action-comedy

By all rights I should have adored this movie, but it left me completely cold

It's very pulpy and stylized, and the plot is paint-by-numbers noir, you're not entirely wrong. Somehow it just works for me though, it's one of those movies that gets better every time you watch it.

Might as well jump off a bridge mate, you're already dead inside

That's a damn shame.

Sometimes a film is just so bad, it makes you re-evaluate the director's whole body of work and question why you ever liked him in the first place

He thought he would, learn to read.

I was so shocked by how much I didn't care for it. I'm due for a rewatch though, it could very well have been the mood/time/setting, there are more factors to enjoying a film than the film itself.

Ain't got time to read

Heat sounded so good on paper and everyone whose opinion I respect recommended it. Watched it and zzzzzzzzz

>there are more factors to enjoying a film than the film itself.

Very true, the first time I watched it was staying up late with my friends.

Not a film, but a TV show - Breaking Bad.

Grandparents bought me a Blu-ray boxset for Christmas a few years back and I binged watched the whole thing over one week.

Thought I'd love it, but it was just utter fucking arse gravy.

I think it's a good movie, but can't figure out why it's so highly praised on the internet lately, or why people refer to it as a heist movie.

Only like 10 minutes of the whole movie were actually good

Water for elephants

That was misleading as fuck

Phantasm

Heh. I've never met someone who wasn't really into that move.

I don't understand someone not liking this movie other than not liking cop type movies or kinda noir movies

Throw in Chinatown too, that sucked as well.

Fleabag

I thought it was supposed to be this daring, anti-social drama, but it was just some teenager's version of edgy going around fucking everyone in England.
