Radiohead does a whole album in the style of Bodysnatchers.
Educate me Sup Forums if something like that already exists (not necessarily by radiohead obv)

a good one

In a world where Brian Wilson doesn’t lose his mind making Smile and it’s released and is a success. I want the album he makes next, an even more ambitious and symphonic project than Smile but more focused.

Beach House make a shoegaze album

it already does

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1440x1080, 81K)

or alternatively, Tame Impala make a shoegaze album

Makulatura album with no songs about women

An early 70's ELO album that focuses on their best genre, rockabilly

Steve Albini makes an electronic album.
It's gonna be the anti-Christ of records.

An album starts off as bubblegum pop, transitions into pop punk, then punk, then alt rock, then prog, then jazz fusion, then avant-garde, then classical.

the white album...

he produced some whitehouse albums

This

A mix between all of these:
Interpol - TOTBL
Unwound - Repetition
The Fall - This Nation's Saving Grace
Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All over Me
Les Rallizes Denudes - '77 Live
Big Black - Atomizer
The Nation of Ulysses - PPfB
Slint - Spiderland

Ironically one of my fav albums. But the progression through genres wasnt seemless. An album that gets more "sophisticated" as it goes on is what i mean

One where there is this relaxing drone in the background, almost like vaporwave and it would sound almost like what you first expect out of the cLOUDDEAD s/t cover. That's what I was hoping that project to be but nope. A good example is the begging of this youtu.be/qnTSmInzdr0 I mean the intro before the voice starts. It's not annoying but I would be in love with it if there was a whole album with songs like that which start with those kind of synths and a beat shows up and turn into something you would just want to lay down and chill to. If anyone knows anything similar please recc.

Something in the style of Animal Collective's "Water Curses" EP except its a full length album. Those four tracks are unlike anything in their discography if you ask me

Singer/Songwriter in the style of Delta Blues
with saloon sounding ragtime piano and country guitar

Cut the crap!?!?

>Radiohead does a whole album in the style of Bodysnatchers.
god yes
that was all i listened to in freshman year of high school

a shoegaze concert inside of a giant water filled tank
the sound equipment is waterproof and the audience has proper equipment for surviving an hour in there

A whole album in vein of Stem/Long Stem or Napalm Brain/Scatter Brain from Endtroducing

take gybe - mladic and speed it up

But cut the crap is shit.

A modern band making music similar to Animals era Pink Floyd

>2 asians and a black guy who grew up in compton
>1 asian is a super hardcore rapper
>1 asian has a really sexy voice
>black man is really good with production and the synthesizer
>they make electronic gangster rap
>album cover is the asian rapper smoking in a mcdonalds and he is beat up

oh god yes

Industrial rap death metal

Melody's Echo Chamber s/t comes to mind, since its Kevin Parker's production with some fuzzy/verb effects and whatnot throughout the album.

I'd love a shoegaze album with influence from Stereolab and bossa nova.

A new Blind Guardian album with less prog elements than their newer stuff

limp bizkit but noise hop like dälek

something with the loud, washed out guitar tones of this and Portal, except it's drone metal.

Attached: swallowed by the ocean's tide.jpg (700x700, 106K)

Very lo-fi nature-themed metal with wilderness sounds samples.

Not exactly, but try track 2 of this compilation

telepathtelepath.bandcamp.com/album/--32

It's not VERY lofi but try skyforest

a real lo fi hip hop album that's not like the bullshit chill hop you see on youtube

The musical equivalent of coming out of a deep depression and starting to appreciate life again, and regretting all the time you wasted feeling miserable. Something that honestly sounds like "getting your shit together and moving forward."

A speed rock album that doesn't scream all the lyrics that's also well-written and well-produced.

What do you mean? There are a shitload of lofi hiphop albums

An album which is a Combination of Noise Rock and Progressive Metal essentially but let me go in further. The songs include a large amount of Dynamics and build up to multiple different climaxes. something like Selling England by the Pound where it changes a lot and never drags on too long on one concept. Many of the climaxes should turn into incredibly extreme Noise Sections that are still interesting like they turn into Power Noise. (not power electronics). Very ecletic with heavy influences from 1st Wave Post-Rock, Shoegaze, Post-Hardcore, Screamo, Funeral Doom, and Atmospheric Black Metal
jk I'm already making it

Microphones - Glow pt. 2

Women - Public Strain
or their s/t

soundcloud.com/user-237406180

NEU!-esque minimalist deconstructions of Christmas melodies

name one thats actually lo fi and not just vinyl crackling

>soundcloud.com/user-237406180
youre apart of the problem

NOBODY ever experiments with the idea of lofi hiphop, just make chill hop and call it a day

loaded with power by sensational you fuckwad

thanks dont be mad

A d-beat concept album with psych rock interludes loosely based on themes presented in Homer's works.

Bob Dylan: Live at the Donald J. Trump presidential inauguration ceremony

Björk on a Naked City record screaming her heart out
Yasuko Onuki is also acceptable

A Post-hardcorw album by death grips

A new album from Lift to Experience.

Alternate Pink Floyd timeline where Syd Barrett made 5 more albums of classic psych rock brilliance

house rhythms
baroque melodies
the vibe of trap
the instrumentation of breakcore and hardbass

any hip hop before 1983

youtube.com/watch?v=gXNzMVLqIHg

Check out Jenny death user.

A good follow-up to The Cold Vein

listen to Juvenile Juvenile - Our Great Escape

Do you know about this comp?

youtube.com/watch?v=O_tHm61c_XE

post hardcore with dream pop clean vocals and ISIS styled sludge metal harsh vocals

Progressive surf metal

Something with a band lika Metallica and someone from the post-punk scene.

This but with a lot of distortion/shoegazey elements
Basically Tyler's song CHERRY BOMB except that the distorsione is handed better

Attached: download.jpg (268x268, 14K)

take chill hop
bitcrush it
drop the bitrate to something below 96kbps
then transcode it back up to flac
voila

this seems cool

Jodorowsky's Dune OST, by Pink Floyd and Magma

something like neu's self-titled but with synths and more bass
recs?

PiL - Metal Box

Alive 2017

Ween's The Mollusk but about Space instead of the ocean

NEET-rage punk rap

This but keep the longer song

detox

An album of David Bowie's autopsy with Station To Station playing softly in the background.

Dreamy, shoegazey hip-hop. Not dreamy in an ambient way like clouddead, more like bouncy, boom-bap Loveless

In 1996, the year after Nirvana disbands, Kurt Cobain, Mark Lanegan and PJ Harvey do a traditional Blues/Alternative/Appalachian Folk album in the vein of Where Did You Sleep Last Night

delet this

>The Desert Sessions

Theres a new album by the lead singer of Lift To Experience coming out, its not similar at all but its still good

an album by me which is actually completed and good

Vapfurwave.

I've heard the singles and I'm pretty excited for it.

SpaceGhostPurrp - BLVCKLVNDRVDIX66.6

i listen to mostly lofi rap.

classic three six mafia shit, kingpin skinny pimp

Just got back from the discomfort

youtube.com/watch?v=K-KQXpgEAFM

youtube.com/watch?v=rf6QNilvKKQ

youtube.com/watch?v=9X_o_BAUJ-c

Also here comes the sun.

An entire album souding like this song: youtu.be/2w0ZJfsjjsI

Radiohead but an TKOL length album of the style of Life In A Glasshouse.

Imagine Dragons discography

The Grateful Dead making a reggae album

If The Age of Adz had a steamy and creamy threeway with I Talk to the Wind and the lyrical style of Bosh Bosch/Lulu.
Along with early 2000's Whitehouse furiously masturbating in the corner of the room calling all of them fags while jizzing on the floor tiles.

Attached: 1505096154276.gif (138x132, 37K)

like elliott smith but hip hop

death bossa nova

holy shit yes
I wouldn't say no to some Jigsaw Falling Into Place though

depression power metal

The alleged Miles Davis and Jimi Hendrix collab that was supposed to happen.

Miles was supposedly working on a double album of Ivan Lins covers. It would have been a rare opportunity to make his music popular outside of Brazil.

youtube.com/watch?v=ZfzPUpi4jSc

could be interesting.
