but anyways, yeah i felt the same way you do about pet sounds many years ago when i was just getting into music. like i mentioned earlier, the 1960s were an extremely different time and a lot of young people especially around our age range (i'm 21) find it very difficult to contextualize around that, despite the album's obvious critical acclaim... maybe read more about pet sounds' background, and brian wilson even. watch a documentary or something.
