Your pick for the greatest album of all time
Your pick for the greatest album of all time

I've never understood how people can think this. What does OKC do so spectacularly that it can be considered the best?
Kid A is better
Frank Zappa - Hot Rats
Kid A

This for now
It's hilarious how all of you fags are posting Sup Forumscore albums. How does it feel to have music dictated on you by a bunch of internet dweebs on an autistic board?
is there even a dispute here?
>"Posting classic albums that were universally acclaimed long before Sup Forums even existed makes you a Sup Forumscore fag"
yes
You are saying that like if there's something wrong with it
you already posted it
I don't see the point of making these threads so often. The albums are always the same.
Come on why broke the chain of mucore/bad albums
Then post something YOU like so we can bash on your shitty taste, turbofaggot.
Get to see them in NJ this may. Can't fucking wait.
Just because you discovered the albums from the Sup Forumscore chart last week, doesn't mean we're all as big of a faggot as you.
Is there any debate?
>fedora topping enabled
Desu desu
I honestly don't think either are perfect all the way through, but both have 5 or so songs which are just amazing. Both bands got the perfect crossover of melody and experimentation.
This is indeed the best Radiohead album
i can get behind this one too
reroll
pet sounds is probably my choice, even though i wouldn't put it in my top 10 favorites
Wrong.
cause the best album ever is probably some underground gem nobody but you has heard right?
this is a more typical opinion than what you're trying to call out
>ctrl+f
>no king crimson
It's okay guys, I got you covered.
Nope. I'm sorry but as good as Animals is, their legacy lies in DSOTM or Wish You Were Here.
may not be "best" by others standards but this album is a true masterpiece
wrong
>album with two good songs
>greatest of all time
So I'm not like the faggot in here's my pick
everyone who preffers OK Computer or In Rainbows over Kid A secretly likes coldplay and goes on plebbit daily
Finally a good album, but def not the best
Any Gorillazfags here?
It's obviously Kid A though
It's like I clicked on the RYM top albums list
no yeah, these plebs don't even beam music recs in from the void directly into their brains
>this was pop music
There is now
This will do too.
fuck revolver
>has one experimental song
>perfect crossover of melody and experimentation
def this
I just listened to this and have it on repeat. It's a solid 9/10 but I wouldn't call it a contender for goat.
Incredible how wrong someone can be.
Second one is totally correct. Acting like some elitist because your taste is more 'mu' than enjoying 'classic' albums.
**because your taste is more obscure
Respectable pick
abbey road
Thats not the snow goose, user
It's not. Animals is the tryhard hipster choice that nobody else knows about or gives a fuck about.
Good pick
Excuse me
Tbh
Good choice user
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme, 1965
This album is a religious/spiritual experience.
eat my ass
>"wtf people in a community generally have similar tastes?????"
Here's your (You) you wannabe contrarian
the only real answer
this is correct
My personal Rush pick, much more tightly focused, best instrumental (La Villa Strangiato) and epic main piece on par with 2112.
Hell yeah my man
Thick as a Brick has literally two good songs.
I think Camel is a very generic kind of prog, just like PFM, Gentle Giant, even Xhol Caravan...
It doesn't mean it's bad, I absolutely love all of those, but the best album of all time?
Certainly not the best, surely the greatest.
agreed, it's fantastic as an accessible piece though. I played the white rider for some random frat boys who happened to be in the same hot tub as me and they were really into it.
ahem
I could never get in to this. A few great tracks but a lot of generic 90's rock filler, could have been great if it were 1 disc.
Fuck yeah.
i know i'll get some shit for this.
This is an actual contender
And the others arent even close
HAHAHAHAGGAHAHAHAHAGSGAGASRFAS no
supreme shit taste
I love this madly
Nice one senpai
>You sir are objectively correct!
Prove me wrong.
Let's stop bullshiting. We all know Dark Side of the Moon is the greatest album of all time. It's jazz, blues, rock, electronica, and very iconic. It's deeply ingrained in our subconcious and although not as spiritual as Coltrane's 'A Love Supreme' or as lyrical as Dylan's 'Blonde On Blonde' or eclectic as Beatles' White Album it holds its ground in how futuristic and expansive the sound is compared to the prior albums. Peace out faggots.

What did Roger "Teeter Totters" Waters mean by this?
