no

hell no

Warriors could barely maintain composure to break the Bulls record

Sneed’s?

A 115 win season would be insane.
A 120 win season is unbelievable.
A 130 win season is incomprehensible.
162 is so far beyond that. It'll never happen with honest competition.

do you think when the san francisco giants come to new york, they go out to dinner with the football giants?

I think yes, it's a definite posibility, so one day it will be done . Just need to get some lucky breaks, maybe an easy schedule.

an NBA team would go undefeated before an MLB team cracks 130

Ya

this caller is giving everyone autism

caller has gotta be a fucking troll

>maybe if they had Harvey
i miss 2015.

Is Mike the inspiration for Assy Mcgee?

>skankees fans are this delusional after a wild card win
Indians will wipe the floor with you.

>what mental asylum was that guy calling from
Lost

im dying

The Mariners have the record at 116 right?

Yeah. If the stars align and Jesus, Muhammad, and Buddha all bless one team, they might hit 125. It's a serious stretch to see anything more as possible before you look at opposition simply not showing up.

not the way the game is currently played no

One of the all time greatest calls

lol this guy is such a dick

Having a record setting season record seems to be more of a curse in new millennium.

>They were only 50 games away

Will you ever stop phoneposting, faggot?

I think the Yankees have a shot at doing it next season.

I'll miss the big guy when he retires from the Fan

Even the mathematical equivalent of a 73-win NBA season is 144 games which hasn't been approached. There's just too many games for even a team of the best players at each position to not at some point have an off night.

will there ever be an 82 win hockey season?

>long time caller, first time listener

As baseball is a luck based "sport", that's impossible in our lifetime, the odds are too unlikely, like flipping 162 times "tails". Impossible

>luck

>he threw a ball 98mph on accident
>he was looking for a bathroom but accidentally turned a double play
>discovered a new base, stole it by chance

>good hit
>gust of wind carries it
>homerun
>without the wind it would've been an out

Can't refute that.

I'd chalk that off as shitty stadium design.

If baseball was played in a vacuum most luck would be eliminated. But here we are

dodgers fan here, what other team should i cheer on? can't dislike the astros and family/friends all like yankees + i admire their history

cheer on the Twins

i thought the best basketball team was 9 wins away

He was playing along with the man's retardation to make fun of him.

Will you do sports and leagues that actually matter?

yes the indians next season

>already a really boring sport
>play 162 games a year

why

youtu.be/2rFBWL2wfaw

>YOU'RE PLAYING A TEAM THAT STINKS!

I never understood why there is so many games in baseball season ?

is it for unemployed persons ? so they have something to do turing daytime and they dont kill themselves

Dodgers next season, cap this.

average fan is retired

baseball is a very calm and undemanding activity. players can do it everyday for dozens of years. it only stops in winter because it can't be played in bad weather

No the bulls only lost one that year

Because its Americas past time and America is the best

And in case of 161-1?

>As baseball is a luck based "sport",

But it's not.

Easily proven, too.

Lmfao

>if i saw that in a little league game i'd be upset

Most games are played at night. I actually get seasonal depression when baseball isn't on. I listen to the Yankees nearly every night on the radio when I cook or read.

spilled muh soder

>only 3 months of Mike left

Does anyone know who's taking over his timeslot?

No idea WFAN is gonna be dead. Mike could stay if they give him enough money though, especially after the carton debacle.

Heres some good ones from recent times.
