The supply of workers will increase, The companies can hire workers cheaper price. And quality of workers will increase due to competition. in short, more profit, more productive, more quality. we should make these outdated blue collar industry more productive and efficient. The immigrants will surely help it.
There is also effect that immigration can destroy native culture and tradition. I wonder why do people suppose this is bad. The culture or tradition have to compete with other culture. Why does one culture have privilege to survive in one nation and the people have to accept that culture? There are no rational reason to defend a culture and one tradition. It liberates people from outdated tradition and stupid custom. So generally speaking, it has good effect.
