World Grand Prix debutant Richard North then plays Simon Whitlock in a Hampshire derby, with the Aussie residing in Havant. Northy proved the big stage was nothing to worry about as he defeated a woeful Mark Webster, with the Wizard casting a disappearance spell on Christian Kist on Tuesday.
Ending round 2 is a bore-off as new favourite Peter Wright plays fellow East Anglian Mervyn King. If Stephen Bunting went 2-D20 for 42, Clownman would not be here, but he didn't. Merv on the other hand made a 2-0 defeat of Ronny Huybrechts look difficult.
