Look how much more convincing the original Triology orcs are -- these were made by passionate makeup artists and costume designers.

Hellboy 2.

Little Shop of Horrors

The Thing and the aliens in Edge of Tomorrow.

Basket Case, Brain Damage

Daily reminder that Guillermo Del Toro was in the process of funneling money from the Hobbit budget into developing a new modern PRACTICAL effects company that would utilize makeup, animatronix, puppetry, etc. etc. to create a Hollywood practical effects alternative to ILM and WETA when New Line gutted him so could get PJ's Hobbit movies instead.

The Fly
simultaneously one of the grossest and most romantic movies of all time

Predator/Predator 2

...

Evangelion

not even meme-ing

they literally have the most iconic and creative monster designs of any franchise

they look like retarded zelda bosses
