Has there ever been a major party chosen that had an entire film directed against them?

Has there ever been a major party chosen that had an entire film directed against them?

I've been looking through American history and I've found nothing to compare to what the Purge: Election Year is throwing up against Trump

Boy I can't wait to see The Purge: Election Year July 4th Weekend with my pals! Who's with me?

>that paint job on a Russian gun

And don't forget that plucky female senator running for president who is the hero that will save us!

W

The movie looks like shit, but if I get it for free on the internet ;) I would watch it.

It's trying the ghostbusters tactic of making bank on shitty current events and gimmicks instead of a good plot.

Difference is, people actually liked Ghostbusters. No one gives a shit about this garbage, I didn't even know there was a series.

Why do people say this is anti-Trump?

>they made a 3rd one

christ

Just like in that recent movie with the female president. Don't want to say to not spoil, but if you've seen it, you'll know.

>all American stereotype character
>paint up a fucking AK

Only thing that needs to be purged is the props department.

This triggered me too senpai

what movie? I don't watch the tellie

>has an ak-47 skin
>anything other than frontside misty

Can already tell it's going to be shit

Holy shit I watched Anarchy last night and it was so garbage.

So many wasted opportunities, so quiet, so little chaos, forgettable characters. You'd think with all the competition in Hollywood, even if the producers are trend-following coke addicts, when they say "we're gonna make cheap horror/thrillers for teens" the talent available could manage to make that amazing.

Google "new movies" and it will be the most patriotic one.

Buying cheap Russian surplus guns is an American tradition, just ask /k/.

The Purge was always meant to be an analogy for the Tea Party and the libertanarchy that it would supposedly bring, with the white liberals playing the role of protecting the black man from the rich shitlords.

>be me at 18 years old when the first movie comes out
>sitting in theater with girlfriend and other friends
>really excited for some campy murder porn
>opening exposition is all about the logistics of how the purge improves the economy etc.
>this movie is taking itself extremely seriously
>the purge's greatest achievement is a 0% unemployment rate
>even me at 18 knows that 0% unemployment is a bad thing
>movie continues to not be murder porn but DIALOGUE about THE NATURE OF MAN
>so incredibly bored that they've been in the house for 20 MINUTES with no action talking about the purge
>eventually get up and leave, go watch Fast & Furious in another screening room.
>enjoy F&F much more

This series is shit.

They seem like they are panicking. Like maybe they know this is their last chance to stay relevant.

I just watched the trailer.
The only thing I can see related to the current elections is that the bad guy is a woman

Wasn't the first one just Panic Room but without any talent behind it?

I've only seen second and hated it ()

Fuck you dude. That movie blew ass. The whole thing was globalist propaganda.

For those curious, let me save you some cash and tell you this: Don't watch the new Independence Day.

>Fahrenheit 911

Are you even old enough to post here?

It's not necessarily about Trump per se, but it is about evil, rich, white, politicians using the purge to keep poor minorities population in check.

Also they use the tag line "Make The Purge Great Again"

Because liberals are the violent ones and therefore the only group people can see filling the role of mass murderers.

Advertise your dead, nigger loving movie somewhere else

Oy vey goyim, please go see my latest film where my name appears many times after the film is over!

That was a documentary. And there have been plenty of news casts and reality shows aimed at attacking republicans.

But this is a multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbuster, set in a fictional setting, yet republicans are still the bad guys.

>Has there ever been a major party chosen that had an entire film directed against them?

Which part of the question didn't you understand?

/k/ here
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WITH THAT SLING??
FUCK YOU ARTS DEPARTMENT!!

This is shilling at another level

To be fair it's an exploitation film series and this is perfectly in line with what they do.

You fucking know it, college drop out

Movie was done before Trump started running. It's only the ad campaign that's using the Trump iconography.
