I don't really care what people say about this album, its a masterpiece.
The ending hit me hardest, mostly because of the revelation Pink gets when the wall he built finally gets destroyed. He realizes that when he thought he was alone, he never really was. Those "bleeding hearts" and "artists" were always there, outside his wall, doing their best to get through. That's why if it's any song that really resonated with me, it was this one. I think we've all experienced a time where we thought we were truly alone in the world only to find out, in the end, a multitude of people cared for you.
>I don't really care what people say about this album so why are you positing why we should agree with you
Eli Foster
i like that it was anti fascist thats exactly what we need in 2018 america, a record like this calling out hate
Adrian Lee
Let me ask, just out of interest, why are you using a trip?
Adam Gonzalez
more fun than posting without
Noah Lewis
Shouldn't you be on reddit, then?
Joshua Bennett
Nah, the album was actually a brilliant example of post-ironic new-sincerity encouraging racial discrimination. "Would you like to send Our colored cousins Home again, my friend" Just beautiful.
Elijah Roberts
nah now your just falling for memes the wack ass Sup Forums culture that you guys have bought into took years and years to develop, back when I first started posting Sup Forums was overflowing with tripfriends
Zachary Garcia
It's a fine album, wouldn't call it a masterpiece, and certainly not their best album imo.
Kevin Wright
This album fucking sucks because it puts storytelling before music. Even the best songs on this album are extremely uncreative, cheesy, and boring. It's just the product of giving Roger Waters too much songwriting power so he could try to force a "theatrical experience" for le relevance. And somehow it fucking worked because everyone was excited about the legendary Pink Floyd releasing a double album. Open your eyes, brothers!
Evan Barnes
>It's just the product of giving Roger Waters too much songwriting power Sometimes that worked out just fine, though.
Pink was wrong. We are actually alone and no one cares. Sup Forums taught me that.
Luis Price
This album is pretty fucking brilliant, although it's got some duds, all parts of Another brick and the entire of side 3 is incredible.
I'm sick of seeing all this hipster shit where people discredit Pink Floyd and the Beatles purely on the basis that they were really popular. They were really popular for a reason dumbass.
(dont like comfortably numb tho)
Ian Mitchell
Pink Floyd is shit

Go on...

1. The Wall is a rock opera so not comparable to the other albums 2. The Wall is Roger Waters' masterpiece 3. Pink Floyd did a great job playing Roger Waters' masterpiece 4. This is one of the timeless albums I can listen to with my dad and grandpa and everyone enjoys it 5. Get over it, of course Animals is Pink Floyd's masterpiece (if not wish you were here)
Adrian Smith
Animals is overrated, The Wall is miles better. Also, The Wall is more than just Waters' songwriting, it has Gilmour (the good kind) written all over it.
