Dead Flag Blues is on my top 5 favourite songs ever.

Providence >>>

That would be Monheim

That's not Storm.

>That cringe crescendo in the first half
Lol no.

It's not like there's a big competition, you could have just said the least bad

The Cowboy section or the bluegrass outro thing?

Both
Literally the greatest song ever made btw

Finish the sentence: post-rock is like rock, but ...

post

It's the 10min end of We drift like worried fire

teh Cowboy section is dope as fuck

and Dead Flag Blues intro always reminds me of Roadside Picnic

Cowboy is do darn beautiful

This

who cares godspeed are shit and distract the masses from actually good post rock
this

malone

lurk moar leave

Moya

>literally random ambient sounds - the album
why do you people like this?

Cool posts!

If you buy the vinyl you get a squished penny

>implying people stop at Godspeed
please user, your retardation is showing

made by the musically literate

Have to agree on that. Least favorite part of the album. Cancertowers on Holy Road Hi-Way is really good tho'

It's the only good thing from that album.

I almost exclusively listen to post-rock. Godspeed wasn't even close to the first band I heard in post-rock.

Same here. Only got into GY!BE last year after loving the shit out of first-wave post-rock. I expected total shit, but got the exact opposite.

...it's not

no because it's neither the first 6 minutes of storm nor the last 5 of sleep

yeah dude, Godspeed is probably my second favorite post-rock band. F#A#infinity and Skinny Fists are in my top three favorite albums ever.

(MONO is my favorite band; Hymn to the Immortal Wind is their best album. Check em out if you haven't. They're godly in concert.)
