Ever since it clicked it for me all those years ago it has been my favourite album by far

How the fuck does this album click? Seems straightforward to me.

It's GOAT indeed

If your revolver clicks, you probably need to load it, you're just putting the hammer down on an empty chamber.

jajajajaja buen post amygo

almost as good as white album

What's the best song and why is it I Want To Tell You?

Seriously this. This album requires one listen to see why it is so highly praised. Unless you lived under a rock and know literally nothing about the landscape of music in 1966

SHE SAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID

Tomorrow Never Knows is not so easy to instalike

It really is though unless this was the first time you had ever heard music that has anything experimental going on in it. That song was completely foundational for experimentation in pop music for like the next 40 years.

>there are people that needed to wait for Revolver to click for them
jesus thats depressing

EACH DAY JUST GOES SO FAST

hi i'm a pedestrian

revolver is actually the beatles album i can't get into. i definitely get why it's vaunted because the songs flow sweet and clear, but there's something too feverish about the album, by which i mean to say when i listen to revolver it's like having a very high fever and not being able to stand up. whereas the other beatles albums are detaining, revolver is arresting, in the sense that it's like being thrown in the back of a cruiser, taken to the station, and thrown in a jail cell with a bunch of drunk old truck drivers and waiters where i have to wait without a clock until somebody lets me out.

it just shows up long enough to molest and then gets out, kinda like the recording and local artists who have been emulating it ever since. it's true cartoon, pure gas, real color pish-posh nonsense which screams a lack of tether and responsibility.

last weekend i was robbed at gunpoint in a convenience store at two in the morning. i wasn't even the clerk, i just went in to buy cigarettes and it was happening so it happened to me, too. fuckers took my car. i cannot fucking stomach revolvers.

You only posted that so you could download and save this meme and put it in your meme folder and add it to you collection, didn't you user?

That's not how you spell Doctor Robert.

Their best album

Attached: Rolf_transparent.png (283x500, 135K)

It's literally a fucking pop song.

Sup Forums really is full of plebs

doctor robert and yellow submarine are the only duds on revolver. take them out and it's a 10.

Actually those are two of the best songs on the album.

The only song that's a dud is For No One.

Delete that song, and the album is a perfect 10/10.

Good post.

>liking albums because they were significant for their time period

sorry, i don't participate in this cultural fad

(you)

It still holds up excellently today though.

It just seems alright to me. I wouldn't even put it in my top 4 Beatles albums. I see it as an album that might click like Pet Sounds did for me but it hasn't yet.

it is.

Best way to listen to Revolver incoming:

1. Taxman
2. Eleanor Rigby
3. I'm Only Sleeping
4. Rain*
5. Here, There and Everywhere
6. Love You To
7. Yellow Submarine
8. Good Day Sunshine

---side 2---

9. She Said She Said
10. And Your Bird Can Sing
11. For No One
12. Doctor Robert
13. I Want to Tell You
14. Paperback Writer*
15. Got to Get You Into My Life
16. Tomorrow Never Knows

Though I suppose you could also try something like:

9. For No One
10. Got to Get You Into My Life
11. Paperback Writer
12. And Your Bird Can Sing
13. Doctor Robert
14. I Want to Tell You
15. She Said She Said
16. Tomorrow Never Knows

.....maybe?

You got dubs, but I fail to understand your post.

She Said She Said, For No One, Yellow Submarine, and Tomorrow Never Knows, and I Want to Tell you are the only good songs.

>over 18 years old
>Revolver just "clicked" for the first time

Something doesn't add up here

Retard. Doctor Robert is fantastic

>yellow submarine
>bad
I hope you die while in the background of an eyewitness news report in a comedic way and nightshow hosts talk about it you absolute scumbag

Revolver top 5 rankings:
1. Tomorrow Never Knows
2. She Said She Said
3. Here, There and Everywhere
4. I'm Only Sleeping
5. Taxman

That's not how you spell Eleanor Rigby.

1. Here, There and Everywhere
2. I'm Only Sleeping
3. Rain if it counts
3. Love You To
4. Tomorrow Never Knows
5. And Your Bird Can Sing (kind of a toss-up between this and For No One)

I TURN AROUND IT'S PAST
