Is South Park redpilled or is it in the middle of left and right? The latest season mocking PC and other type of SJW-bs got me wondering if they're redpilled.

South Park mocks everything

time to go outside OP

So where would they [Trey Parker and Matt Stone] stand on the political spectrum?

South Park hit SJW's hard last season. But I bet this year they're going after trump and the "alt right".

We're next.

Semi red pilled.

They practice as much "Arm Chair Morality" from Right of the Center as the Far Lefties do.

Have they exposed the Money Printers in a big way ever?

They probably know their lives and careers would be in grave danger if they did.

They will probably shill for the Money Printers if they are asked/ordered to.

Hope they do a coincidence detector episode

>hit SJWs hard
>season ends with it's time to be PC, c'mon it's CURRENT YEAR

This. It will be funny, but I feel like my metal is going to be tested. I've never had a south park episode make fun of me or an ideology I hold.
I hope they at least touch on the reasons the alt-right exists in the first place.

I'd say it's definitely middle, for a while it seemed that they were pro-sjw but recently they've been more right wing, they tend to go against the grain, and as the pendulum of society finally swung in the direction of the left, they decided to go right.
My bet is they're just middle of the road and support whichever's voice isn't as loud.
We will see more next season.

It's called satire

They seem to pretty equally point out the hypocrisy and stupidity of both parties

Always figured Matt and Trey leaned libertarian if anything

They could go for Hillary also

Its bias to the moderate left, but it fluctuates.

South Park is anti PC to its fullest. Wether or not you agree with what they say ,it's great to have such a mastodon of comedy like them.
If recall ,the creators said "We must laugh about everything". Not that something can't be laugh at without being in bad taste ,but the second we put a subject in the "can't laugh about that" ,freedom of speech dies. Because that would ask the legitimate question
>Who decide what we can or can't laugh of ?
And good luck legitimating that in the US without going full anti constitutional.
So even if you don't agree with SP ,or it's not funny (which is not a requirement for comedy to exists), I still think South park is pretty much the best thing that ever happened to comedy

To quote the creators

>Q: Are you two guys liberal or conservative? Me and my friends have had debates about this.

>Parker: We avoid extremes but we hate liberals more than conservatives and we hate them [conservatives].

>Stone: I hate conservatives but I really fucking hate liberals.

They make fun of both sides I guess.

Might as well just re-do the episode "The Snuke"

Is this show even still on the air? I haven't watched it since I was 14.

Which just reminds me that the episode showed Brits trying to invade america and take it back for the english crown.

it's beyond left and right, which coincidentally is the meaning of "redpill"

I can't tell whether they didn't expect trump to get this far (hence using mr garrison as a surrogate) or they DID expect trump to get this far (so garrison has something to do again)

If you watched south park from the beginning you would know they give shit to anything they find ridiculous, left or right. They are pretty damn redpilled.

>not available in my country
FUCK YOU TRUDEAU WHY DOES BELGIUM GET TO WATCH IT AND NOT ME YOU CORRUPT LEAFY JEWS
REEEEEEEEEE

The last couple seasons were pretty shitty. They've almost gotten too preachy.

They also try and have a season long storyline rather than a new story every episode, which kind of sucks.

Ooh, watch out, we have a big boy here

they only started mocking leftists now that leftists are threatening their careers with all their anti offensive bullshit. they kept it to a minimum before.

Chaotic Neutral

Redpilled but at the same time they lean strongly to the left. They have attacked Republicans time and time again and more often than Democrats and even portrayed Hillary as a respectable candidate while Trump actually ran a country to the ground and could do nothing but insult his way to the White House.

But when they point out the bullshit in the leftist agenda they hit it hard, and it wasn't just limited to the latest season. Over ten years ago they did the episode on tolerance and massive immigration, which despite being exaggerations a decade ago they're surprisingly accurate today.

I think Mr garrisons story is going to depend entirely on if Trump is winning or has already won whenever they start the new season. I might be wrong but I heard they only write their episodes about a week or two before they air.

jewish

I want more "Scott Tenorman must die and Cartmanland" episodes.

Why don't you pirate it or find an online stream like a normal person?

Did you stop because it reminds you of all the times your dad snuck into your bedroom and fiddled with your arsehole?

>I might be wrong but I heard they only write their episodes about a week or two before they air.

It differs per episode, but they're known for being very quick on current affairs when compared to other cartoons. IIRC even their most intricate episodes don't take much longer than a month to make.

South Park is an observer who pokes fun on both sides

so this

It's funny, considering that Sup Forums is essentially an alt-right underage faggot safe space / echo chamber / hugbox.

It's actually quite hilarious how faggots here imitate the same exact tactics that SJWs use as well.

It's well known that they produce every episode within the span of 6 days (though they do a writers retreat to come up with plot ideas prior to a season starting)

Part of it will be whether they agree with trump's policies or not. Last season seemed to suggest they only considered trump a joke candidate, though things may have developed since then

F P B P
P
B
P

Genuinely this. They attack everything pretty evenly, but in a society where all media is massively left-leaning, something that lampoons everything will be perceived as right leaning.

they have already done a trump episode so why again?

they are both libertarians.

I think matt stone had some quote like" I hate the right, but I really fucking hate the left"

They said that they hate republican but that they fucking hate democrats. So they are on the right I guess.

They're Libertarians but are against open borders. They're Randlets.

Dude, they just make silly (albeit topical and socially aware) cartoons. Don't expect them to pander to your tin foil hat shit.

They do whatever is popular and relevant in the cultural zeitgeist. Far too juicy to avoid completely.

South Park pokes fun at anyone for any reason at any time

The last episode literally undo everything they had done I'm that season.

Libertarians

BLAME CANADA!
BLAME CANADA!

They're confirmed libertarians. One of the two (don't remember which) was on record saying they hated conservatives but really, really hated liberals.

watched this earlier. One of my all time South Park favourites.

Vote or die

youtube.com/watch?v=9pSh0VAVYn4

Trey and Matt have described themselves as libertarian. They aren't alt right or ultra conservative. But they certainly aren't liberals.

> Not everybody fits in a specific group

They made fun of network heads with the Jewbians.

None of them have white wives.

How about SJWs are easy to mock?
PC principal is antifa, and it's mocked very well.
South Park will mock anything and try their best to keep it funny.

They'll mock the hell out of BLM and Trump all next season. Hillary is just pathetic so continuing to mock her is a bit stale. But I hope they hit her hypocrisy being a criminal while running for chief law enforcement position in the world.

They're in the sweetspot of comedy where you mock the right and left, and then mock whichever side is currently in dominance a little extra. They're not neutral, just pragmatic.

That quote is correct. But both of them said that. It's in their commentaries somewhere.

They also said that they aren't Atheist, and that atheists piss them off too. I'm not sure how true that is, but I think they say they're not atheists the same way Neil DeGrasse Tyson says he's not an atheist.

You can believe in God and not be a part of any religion. I think a lot of people do, even when they say they're atheist.

>hating sjws
>redpilled
Everyone hates sjws. It's common sense.

They killed Canadian Donald Trump and made some obtuse episode about Florida's Stand Your Ground law applying to the Zimmerman case, when in reality it wasn't used in the defense.

I can tell someone is autistic IRL because they will mention South Park

Matt and Trey are inconsistent I feel like. They waiver between being Penn and Teller tier libertarians and being full retard liberals.

>against open borders

Rewatch the "goddamn mongorians tear down my shitty wall" episode.

Or the goobacks one, where they only prevented the takeover of the not-mexicans by employing the most retarded solution imaginable (hence suggesting that stopping mass migration is impossible, so why try?).

Did you here Stan's speech at the end of Goobacks? I said against open borders not anti immigration.

what did they mean by that

They make fun of whatever is popular to make fun of at any given time. Basically a common man's view on things as opposed to the absolute liberal side of late night talk show hosts

Literally impossible. They have made fun of every religion and those who hold none at all

>Stone: I hate conservatives but I really fucking hate liberals.
me

far left.

bruce jenner is an outspoken republican.

They only take shots at easy targets.

The PC episodes were so weak. It seemed like they backpeddled halfway through it: "N-no, it's about uh, ads! Yeah, a-ads!"

>play out liberal fantasy of executing George Zimmerman
>red-pilled

choose

It's time to stop posting.

>far left

I can't believe I post on the same internet as you. They're Republicans who voted for Bush you fucking retard. You literally take 10 seconds to look this up on google.

It's typical brand of south park humor.

They'll take a serious topic, make some comments about it. Get bored and start bitching about ads or that all songs are about a girl's "va-jayjay."

wow it's almost as if hitting humor on every political spectrum makes the show appeal to a wider range of audience demographics

you pc brah

>They're Republicans who voted for Bush
False.

Zimzam is a habanero

Libertarian Jews that hate overly pc media.

Go back to Sup Forums then? Plenty of tranny porn there for you.

you just proved him right you know

This. They exist purely to demoralize both sides and destroy culture. Look at how shitty the cartoon is drawn, that in itself is a statement about what they think about American children, primarily who they target with this cynical trash.

The funniest thing about South Park is that 2 college dropouts with no artistic ability created the most popular American children's TV show in the past generation. Oh, and just coincidentally they both happen to be ......

You sure senpai? I vaguely remember reading an interview of them where Sean Penn sent them a letter saying that their show was going to get Bush elected and they told him they didn't mind and didn't see a problem with that.

So, they're agnostic?

did you ever see the show they made called thats my bush

I'll quote Matt Stone and Trey Parker from one of their commentary minis:

>"We hate republicans, but we REALLY fucking hate liberals."

This.
They really disappointed me with that bullshit.
Actually made me kinda just stop watching TV.

Nah South Park is for edgy 10yr olds
Non-country

>implying being right wing counts as being redpilled
Pro israel rednecks are as bad as niggers who want free shit.

they made an episode making fun of agnostics too

And what you just said translates to "they are Republicans and voted for Bush" in your mind? How fucking daft are you?

They didn't mind because they hated both Gore and Bush. They didn't care who won. Watch the episode "Douche and Turd", that's how they feel about the political system in the US. They're not Republicans.

Dude you post alot about money printers, whats up with that?

Well you could not give a fuck at all about religion or not holding one. The I guess I'm an atheist, but I don't fucking preach about it nor will I bitch and moan about a friend having a church wedding.

what the fuck. Even I can see it, from my village's computer

Except for themselves, expect for the prevailing consensus.
For instance the moral degradation of our people.
They criticize people for the vices that are "comfortable" imagine the backlash they'd get if they pulled a Nietzsche and openly defended religious thought and criticized the nihilistic conclusions of secularism.
Or they critiqued the way that freedom without responsibility and democracy without culture leads to a soft totalitarianism.

To criticize "vice" is one thing and it make people think they are sane, to criticize real vice is another thing, entirely unthinkable and "problematic" for the average viewer.

They are cowards who will never speak beyond social consensus.

Kek well put user

Nope, made an episode railing on them with space jews.

Last season was based af, this one is a must watch

youtube.com/watch?v=fv2ZMN3T18E

I didn't really enjoy the PC episodes, they just weren't that funny in all honesty

to think they're going to ignore this election which is happening while the show runs is very fucking ignorant

>Cartman: You guys, I think this whole thing is a conspiracy.
>Token: Whattaya mean?
>Cartman: Think about what heppened: American has pretty secure border for years. Kyle gives a big speech about tolerance and acceptance that goes viral. A bunch of Canadians cross the border illegally. Kyle's brother is Canadian. What if Kyle knowingly gave that speech to get all the illegals in?
>Kyle: [annoyed] I'm sitting right here.
>Cartman: And he's sitting right here.
>Kyle: You really think just my speech brought on a wave of illegal immigration?!
>Stan: You did kind of go overboard, dude.
>Kyle: [looks at Stan, betrayed] What??
>Stan: It's just... I know you like giving speeches and stuff, but not everything is black and white.
>Clyde: Yeah, I mean, it's fine you wanna go preach about Caitlyn Jenner, but you can't just make blanket statements about letting anyone do whatever they want.
>Kyle: I didn't even wanna give that speech!
>Cartman: [interrupring] Yeah, yeah, this is interesting. Have you guys read Genesis 34?
>Butters: Uh uh.
>Cartman: Well, it's intriguing, because in Genesis 34, the Jews actually did somethiing similar to what Kyle is doing now.
>Kyle: Uh I'm not responsible for this! Illegal immigration has been happening forever
>Cartman: But it's happening a lot more now. After you decide to give a big speech about Caitlyn Jenner. Because you want to bring down the cultural fabric of America. 'Cause you're a Jew.
>Kyle: You guys, immigration either legal or illegal are always gonna find ways to cross into richer countries if they're not living-

What did they mean by this?
