Trying to be original with my own sound - my style is dark in general but different for each album/EP, some are more melodic and others more abrasive. If you want something easy to digest listen to "Joys and Horrors of Broken Souls", if you want something harsh and abrasive listen to "Matanza", my personal favorite is "no devil lived on".
I'm also a hobbyist photographer and most of the cover art photos were taken by me

I like this quite a lot actually. You got a sound I really want to catch but I just can't.
Feels like an indie artist was stuck in a warehouse with nothing but pop to sample but still made it work so well.
Comfy and sad. I like it. Like I just finished a big project and wondering what the hell to do now.
It has a nice industrial feel to it. For some reason I feel like it could belong as music in Fight Club, which is a good thing, that movie got some dupe ass music.
If you respond to this post, I will offer feedback to your music and reply.

I like your stuff too man. the track sounds like a mixture of a james bond soundtrack and classic trip hop. enjoyed the spaceyness of the whole thing considerably.

just released my first full length album, would love feedback
if that's you in the picture, you'll be lost in a sea of edginess
Some alternative rock / post-punk-influenced stuff, I try to make each song fairly different to the last and mess about with time signatures and weird chords occasionally so if that's your bag you might like it. Got a couple of albums out now but my latest one is definitely a lot more developed than the other stuff

My latest beat. Guitar, synth, drums.
Pretty dope. The beats are really dope. Love Afternoon Substance.
Pretty nice vocal effects and sound overall. I think I wish there was a bit more low end in the beat. Besides that, pretty good.
Very solid boom bap drums. The melody wasn't super exciting.

given the existence of toro y moi, oneohtrix point never, nmesh, etc, I think you need to be putting in more effort. Sure, this took a lot of effort to make in the 80s, and it takes a decent amount to make these days, but it doesn't sound catchy enough to be successful in sticking out like MGMT, left field enough to stick out like Clarence Clarity, etc. It just sounds like really pastiche 80s love

This really takes me back to when I first started producing. I think you might want to think more about blending each bass sound together. Right now they kind of sound like they're just random bass chops from sample packs. The mix is fine.
drums sound kinda cheap. Reverb is lil much. Idk, maybe it's just not my cup of tea. Those chords rock tho man. Just don't try to outdo yourself.
The backing is like the score to a bad lifetime movie. Not too easy to listen to. Try your hand at sampling for some practice working a groove.
pretty epic. I like those quick cuts, don't hear that often in ambient. Can't get behind the noise section but that's just me.
If I were to download some royalty free tracks off some shady Russian website, this is what they would sound like.
pretentious and incoherent. Not a fan. Not much wrong technically I suppose.
I really like track 10 & 11
no link
cool mixdown. Sounds straight off a cassette tape. When the hi's come in on the drums the song is ruined. They sound really out of place.

really really enjoy some of the atmospheric, instrumental bits, like Disappointed and the end of Are You Afeared?..
they're beautiful, yet they come and go so quickly, though i guess that makes them kinda special
I really like what you're going for here, execution leaves a little to be desired though. Lack of structure seems to be something you're going for but I think it would be cool to expand upon that guitar riff that starts kind of near the middle, then progresses into that climax of noise and percussion. I enjoyed this.
