Serious question, what's the patrician Spotify?

Having your own digital or physical library, my retard

what do you mean?

spotify + personal lp collection is patrician

digital library
t. 16-year old girl

How do i check this?

bitch im 20

t. basement dweller

>spotify for local music
I don't have an extreme enough small brain meme to respond to this

Plex or similar

That's a good point. I always forget Plex does music too

smalltime

Gib Katefu

>not a small enough brain
>only listens to popular music thats on spotify
ok

t. Doesnt have over a terribite of music in his hard drive, multiple box sets he has yet to burn on his computer and 100s of vinyls. Plus spotify has (I have different playlists to sort the albums) at the very least 18 hours of music on there

Actually owning a library of physical releases.

I too name my music folder Music

image is accurate for video games.
although i really dont mind that you pirate your music, I just think that 10$ isnt much for a shit ton of music that syncs up over devices, and gives you handy recs etc

50 GB; ~396 hours of physical + digital, so like 16-17 days altogether

I just don't like music industry

Anyone who's still not using a streaming service should get the fuck off Sup Forums. If the time you spend downloading shit is worth less to you than the 10 fucking dollars a month it costs I don't want to hear your opinion on anything.

well me neither, but im not using spotify to support the industry, im using it because its so usefull and easy to use

t. poorfag

show your library then I bet you listen lo like ~500 same songs over and over again.

Good goy, I can dl a flac album/discography faster you can stream/ listen to one GOY

>10 bucks a month for shitty quality music that's still missing 90% of the world's music, having your music preferences sold to record labels because you're basically on the facebook of music.
stay pleb

congratulations?

get fucked

>search for download
>download
>extract
>move to music folder
>probably have to remove some shit like .DS_STORAGE files and low res artwork
>probably have to rename files and fix tags

Yeah, this is totally faster than
>search for artist/album
>play

>shitty quality music
>still holding on to the lossless meme

>missing 90% of the world's music
I'm not saying you should exclusively use it, obviously using a library for stuff that's not on streaming services is perfectly fine

>having your music preferences sold to record labels
Why the fuck would I care? What are they gonna do, produce more of the stuff that I like?

shut up you tit

>he probably listens to music from spotify on his laptop and phone speakers

Kek, at least I listen to music. You just download it.

Winamp, true patrician here.

>pajeet vapid pop listener

opinion discarded

>still moving goalposts in 2018

Attached: asdf.jpg (371x20, 11K)

nothing to move when industry shill advocating for paying for music

>You just download it.

Oh no, I downloads albums to listen to at a later date, you sure showed me

>Good goy, I can dl a flac album/discography faster you can stream/ listen to one GOY
That's literally what you said. You made no mention of listening to the album you downloaded, which is the point of downloading an album. It's ok though. Continue to collect music you will never listen to.

>You made no mention of listening to the album you downloaded

Why would I need to you fucking idiot, it's a given

Apply yourself

You explicitly mentioned it for streaming. You literally used the word 'listen'.
So you're not just poor, you're stupid too. Life must be hard.

a lot

Attached: asd.jpg (211x27, 3K)

Ok, but what does it matter that you can download the album faster than someone can listen to it? You'd still have to listen to it, which would take the same amount of time as someone streaming it, if not longer, considering you'd have to spend the time downloading it in addition to listening to it. Effectively, it would take you longer to listen to the album than just streaming it. These are simple concepts that any gradeschooler should be able to understand.

>all these lossy babbies whose music will be unlistenable in 5 years

Attached: kek.jpg (225x225, 6K)

Why would I download an album I have no intention of listening to?

Don't forget that FLAC files are affected by bitloss too if left unmonitored and unverified.

Because you're clearly retarded?

>Effectively, it would take you longer to listen to the album than just streaming it.
Yes because you can't do other things when downloading musi

Idiot

Unless you're in a third world country the actual download will probably take less time than looking for the download and unzipping/moving files.

WTF is going on with this thread? Are people actually shaming people for downloading music? Is this fucking bizarro Sup Forums? What the fuck ??

Haha, so original, i've not been called that on Sup Forums before, did spotify recomend that insult?

op here, i dont fucking know any more i wanna die
I started this thread to make fun of the spotify bug but what the fuck has this turned in to

So your initial point of "waiting" was hardly worth mentioning then was it

adding albums that aren't on spotify to Spotify's local library is pain in the ass, (metadata is changing itself and you have to change it yourself so the title is different or smth)
and spotify lacks too many albums i want to listen to, that i stopped using it and now I just download FLAC music :3 and it's p. cool

This is why we need to the ability to delete our own threads. This is a fucking disaster

Attached: dog.jpg (640x640, 97K)

>Is this fucking bizarro Sup Forums? What the fuck ??

This is neo/mu/ kids who can't live without hand-holding by big corporations

>sbotify is great it lets me expand my eclectic music taste
>listens to top40 pop artists known for their tits and asses and no musical abilities

I hope you're pretending to be retarded

yes. also I hope you are sageing

>these Spotify users don't listen to good music like me

Attached: 1518897910458.jpg (710x473, 60K)

>listens to shitty noise music that might as well randomly generated

Heres a countersage my good man

because there is no good music on spotify

Only poster here showed that he listens to charli xcx the most. Even if you disregard the fact that she is absolute trash artist. She only has two albums.

She had two album-length mixtapes last year alone, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about and just looked her up on Wikipedia that's not showing the mixtapes in the albums section

No I have a genuine spastification of the brain you fucking mong

That explains it. Sorry for your loss.

My musicBee collection is like 80 days

Don't be sorry i'm in good company here

How is spotifys sound quality? I've tried giving it a go but my computer just crashes when I open it.
