I can't really tell what's wrong, but I don't like the mixing of the drums. They are just too intense and stick out of the mix too much. Needs a bit of bass, and less ear piercing overcompressed kick

Would it be too pretentious to be labeled as avantgarde pop? I feel it would be more fitting than other artists that label their works as "avant-pop". It's really crazy and I love it

all recorded on a 4 track. Similar to the Microphones/NMH. You can preorder a tape from Worry Records as well.
here's a 4 track semi-intstrumental (there's one song with singing in it by my friend) funk banger that i whipped up for all the boys and girls needing a little bit of groove in their system. that means you boys.
Very good track. The kick is a bit overbearing and overcompressed but everything else is great. I'll have to give this a through listen wishlisted Sounds like it could be in a deranged retro style video game Late Night Car Drive is a nice track. like it a lot This is really groovy synth. I need more
Nice track w/ a quick buildup to a simple but strong melody - enjoyed it
The drum samples have a vinyl quality that I appreciate , nice dynamics and interweaving themes
Fun #vaporwave style, some really nice layers in the midrange and the occassional scratches/fills Chord progression reminds me a bit 80’s Cyndi Lauper.... enjoyed it
This is very moody, cinematic and dark. For me the development is too slow for stand alone listening - would work better as soundtrack music- in other words - u r expecting a listener to listen for 3 minutes to a slow process with very little changes. Maybe for people into dark meditation? I like the strings and sounds - just think it could be compressed into a shorter time span and given more elements of change or layers to keep it interesting and hold one’s attention
Enjoyed this a lot - for me it really started around the 1:00 point, the muted mid range harmony, the synth progression, and the nasally reed melody are great together - all distinct, also the chord progressions are a bit unexpected, and they change around the 2:00 mark which kept me interested..... enjoyed it
I'm this guy. Thanks for your opinion, although I think you based your thoughts mainly on my sixth track which actually is slow in development and thats what I wanted to achieve - to be completely honest I recommend listening to my stuff loudly in a dark room, with headphones on while concentrating on the music. I mean that what I had/have in mind when making the things I make. Thanks a lot though thanks for your criticism I mean it a lot.
mixing is way too tinny on the first track, but the composition is p nice trip hop type stuff. I like your voice, smooth yet flawed enough to be relatable. Your songwriting seems to be pretty up to snuff, too. I wish you had a bit more atmosphere, rather than the synth stuff which texturally is a bit off (maybe even if you had a more folky tone, smth like new age synths). you mean synthpop? it's p nice, goth tinged synthpop but I feel like it's kinda behind its contemporaries in that it's a track that wouldn't sound much different had it been made in the 80s, except that a lot more effort would be required to make it back then.
Ok I'm rating the thing you asked me to rate - that is: the asteroid galaxy tour. (although I don't know why you made me do it)
Frankly - I enjoy listening to electro/candy-pop like this from time to time. I liked it, I found it wholesome, jolly sounding. Catchy, summery and nice. Yet it's not completely in my taste I prefer stuff that is a little bit more challenging and less poppy. Even though I enjoyed it and will have it saved for later "in-a-good-mood" listenings
Iv generally been more successful with my hardtek iv played a few gigs as a hardtek and breakcore dj and slid in some of my tracks sometimes people love them sometimes people stop dancing and its super embarrassing but it motivates you to make better music I spose
William Butler
Market it to Mac demarco fans
Jose Sanders
>Would be sick as fuck with some hats and percussion >without that it fucking sucks Witchouse for me is all about the way the drums flow with the bass this basically or maybe literally just has kick and snare
David Davis

Gavin Roberts

Robert Brooks

You mean you make sadboy rap Thats fine Your music is good Saying its anything other than sadboy rap is a crime tho if your ashamed of being a sadboy dont be one Stay drippin 100
You sound like you aren't sure of yourself when you're singing, and then you were even more unsure of yourself when you produced it so you hid your vocals under most of the instruments. Give it some energy, my man.
