any tips on how to make a chart?
I mean I know how to 'make' one on topsters - I'm asking more about the mindset to have when selecting the albums... I feel like if I try and pick my favorite albums of all time it's just gonna be a lot of the same artists
>I feel like if I try and pick my favorite albums of all time it's just gonna be a lot of the same artists
How big of a chart do you want to make? If it's around the 50-100 area then repeat artists aren't a big deal.
For me it's just albums that clicked with me the most or albums that I play more than others (my chart was )
Just try to pick albums you feel represent your taste best.
why does it takes forever to render my chart?
i just choose albums that i feel uniquely characterize my tastes mixed with albums that are my favorite.
probably just gonna make a selection and then alphabetize the entire thing by album titles to avoid the impossible task of picking GOAT and also to avoid having one artist take up half of my top 10
it's either that or limit myself to one album per artist but then I'd have to eliminate too many favorites
Papa M - Live from the Shark Cage
Califone - Quicksand/Cradlesnakes
Todd Rundgren - Something/Anything?
764-Hero - Get Here and Stay
>it's either that or limit myself to one album per artist but then I'd have to eliminate too many favorites
You now know how I felt when I made my first top 25. As you listen to more music it gets a little easier to find the concrete favorites. Hope that helped you.
listen to Cornelius
Virginia Astley - From Gardens Where We Feel Secure
