Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi.
MAJOR SPOILERS PEOPLE I TELL THE ENTIRE PLOT.
The movie picks up immediately after Episode 7.
The first scene is a squad of Resistance fighters taking out a fleeing band of First Order ships after the destruction of the StarKiller base.
Cut scene to the long awaited Luke & Rey meeting. Luke is in disbelief that Rey is alive, as he thought that she was slaughtered along with her parents.
Luke explains how he felt an Awakening in The Force, and meditated on it for a long time in solitude, believeing it was Ben Solo (Kylo Ren), for when Luke knew Ben, he wasn't evil, at the time. Rey proceeds to tell Luke everything.
Luke then dedicates himself to training Rey.
Cut scene to an injured, angry Kylo Ren fleeing to speak with General Snoke in person. After Rey won the first battle, General Snoke is furious with Kylo Ren over his failure, but it is revealed later to all go according to his plan...
The mental and physical pain that Kylo is in, along with General Snokes training, makes him a powerful Sith Lord. There is not a trace of goodness in Kylo left, for he now believes he is stronger than Vader ever was and sets off to hunt down Luke & Rey.
Cut scene to the sentimental Resistance funeral of Han Solo. Under pressure, the Resistance move their base to a new world inhabitated by the criminal bandit Hutts. With no other options, the Resistance & Hutts form an alliance with their main goal being the elimination of the First Order.
With the Hutts being criminal bandits, there are First Order spys stationed amongst them. The spys notify the First Order of what has happened and where they are, and a large battle ensues, both on the ground and in space above the planet.

Finn is then named Captain of a Resistance Spec. Ops team with their mission being to infiltrate and eliminate the main carrier ship of the First Order from the inside above the planet to disrupt the communications, giving the Resistance enough time to scatter from the winning First Order.
Poe, and a squad of fighters lead the air assault to draw fire away from Finn so that he can maneuver his way into the carrier. Poe and his assault fighters are killed, however, Finn is ultimately successful in disabling the communications, and the remaining Resistance flees.
The Resistance suffers major casualties, and there is a major break in morale amongst them. The majority of the survivors wish to leave the Resistance, fearing the First Order will not stop until everyone is dead, especially now that they are heavily outnumbered, fighting in the shadows, on the run as fugitives, and are working with the criminal Hutts. The majority of the Resistance lose hope, and disband, leaving them for good.
Cut scene to General Snoke, communicating with Kylo Ren via hologram. Kylo tells Snoke he has successfully tracked down Luke & Rey, after a major shift in the Force. Snoke is pleased, and instructs Kylo to kill Luke and bring Rey to him, alive.
Cut scene to Luke, sitting, seemingly completely broken. He can sense all of the death, destruction, and disturbances throughout the Force. He has a short monologue with Rey about how he is too old and weak to carry on, and how she has completed her training and is ready to face the Dark Side & the First Order on her own with help from the Resistance. Rey has learned everything she possibly could from Luke.
Rey is upset and in disbelief, for the legendary grandmaster Jedi Luke Skywalker has given up hope in himself. In anger, Rey says how weak Luke is, and how his legend is nothing but lies, and abandons him.
Rey is The Last Jedi.

Rey is about to board her ship and meet up with the Resistance, however, when Rey exits outside, she then sees Kylo Ren's ship next to hers, with a scarred and disfigured Kylo Ren waiting for her. Kylo has a short monologue with her about his increase in powers. Luke overhears, and steps out. Immediately when seeing Luke, Kylo proceeds to attack him. Rey joins the fight. A long dramatic lightsaber fight ensues, with Luke & Rey teaming up against Kylo, with Kylo holding his own incredibly well.
Kylo uses the Force to push Rey away, and with her watching from a distance, Luke is slain with a quick blow to the back. Rey then explodes in a fit of rage, easily overpowering and besting Kylo. The Force channels through her and she is far out of Kylos league. Kylo is then on the floor, begging Rey for mercy, when General Snoke emerges from Kylos ship. He leaughs hysterically, and disarms Rey and brings her to her knees. Kylo is relieved at the sight of his master, but then realizes his true intentions.
Snoke has a short monologue with Rey about how powerful she has become, and how she has done well to come this far. Snoke tells her to join the Dark Side, as they will sweep through the entire galaxy with an iron fist and rule together. Rey refuses, and insults Snoke & Kylo. Snoke then renders Rey unconscious, bringing her aboard the ship, and then takes off, leaving Kylo to die. The camera pans to the ship leaving, then to Kylo, laying on the ground bloody and injured next to his uncle, a dead Luke Skywalker.
End.

Casino Planet isn't about Hutts, but about a race that evolved from a Sith prison planet guarded by Jedi. They are the Last Jedi (sith/jedi that use both sides of the force).
Rey is Kylo's sister. After Snoke took Ben, Luke tried to protect her by wipping her memories (and the meories of people close to her, like her parents Han and Leia). When Rey finds out (R2D2 will let it slip, he's the only one besides Luke who knows who she really is) she will leave Luke and start to go Dark Side.
Kylo will go through a redemption arc, but it will be revealed that he's only doing it to have the full "Vader Experience" and he's not genuine about it... until he begins to be.
Benicio is the leader of the Sith/Jedi race. He's basically an anti-hero of sorts.
Phasma is revealed as a Resistance spy, but is killed in the next scene.
Little orange grandma Yoda isn't in the movie.
Luke doesn't die, but he only trains Rey and nothing else. it's imply he can't physically leave the planet he's on for some reason.
Snoke has 3 scenes. He's revealed as a Force Ghost who can make himslef physical using the Force. He was Darth Plagueis when he was alive. He is a Muun, so that part of the EU is revealed as "canon".
Poe doesn't die. He's paired up with Finn during 90% of the movie. Epic bromance vibes.
Rey and Luke duel before she leaves. They don't hurt each other, but Rey uses the Dark Side for the first time in that scene.
It is revealed (lot of that going on in SW8) that she could get into Kylo's head so easily, that Han, Chewie and Leia trusted her implicitely, etc. because she's really Padme Solo and even if they don't remembe rher on an intellectual level, on an emotional one they are still close.
There's no Big Bad Death Star in this movie. Snoke implies another kind of superweapon being in "construction." It's very ambiguous and it could be Clones, a death star, an alliance with the Sith/Jedi race, whatever.
Luke is ruined. Fuck this movie.
