Deadsy, but they may be an acquired taste for some. These guys used an absolute fuckload of vintatge synth. Their keyboarder had a Juno 106, JP8080 and JP 8000 rack mounted (which had to be custom built in such a configuration) for use both in the studio and on the road. He used midi controllers to play the actual notes but the synthesis itself was done by the large rack in pic related.

If you like Kevin Parker's production, Melody's Echo Chamber is very similar in sound. Also Pond, and by extension, king gizz. but these are all very entry level and I'm not sure how deep you're looking to dig OP
