Agreed, British detectives such as Frost, Midsomer Murders, Agatha Christie's Poirot and Dalziel & Pascoe beat any American detective series, they don't have the same appeal. But the Mentalist does come pretty close I have to admit, the only American detective series worth competing with the British ones.

Colombo is kino though

How long does he have left?

...

Columbo is indeed a great series, but it's more of a "how to catch the killer" procedural instead of a "whodunit"

shite /itvcore/ m8

He who dares, wins

Thanks for reminding me to watch A Touch of Cloth

>leave /crime psychology kino/ to me

A Touch of Frost isn't really a Whodunit, the culprit is obvious in most episodes

L-I-V-E-R-P-Double O-L Liverpool FC!

>that episode where Frost plants evidence to catch a guy

>it's a Del grows a moustache episode

HE FELL THROUGH THE BAR STEW

*sultry saxophone starts playing*

prime suspect
inspector morse
taggart

Lovejoy niggas

agreed our cinema is not worth being called cinema anymore.

honestly i never could get into columbo because i don't want to know who the killer is at the beginning of each episode. it's not like columbo is ever not going to catch them.

Kd's lands let herself go

cracker and public suspects are still god-tier to this day

everything else is shit your nan watches repeats on itv

As a Brit, the only people watching this shit is senile 80 year old women on a thursday afternoon while they piss themselves before countdown comes on.

The series' appeal is more about Colombo figuring who the killer is quite quickly and then sweating the culprit until he breaks whilst acting as if he were some backward ignorant fool who believes everything the killer wants him to believe

>being this underage

>watching itv3

Robbing paki bastard.

/Thread

Pack it in and shove off lids.

...

Brits do good detective stuff. They've been doing it since the 1800s.

I sometimes sit in my own piss and shit and watch touch of frost with the sound off

Robbie Coltrane was so fucking good in Cracker.

Cracker and Morse is true crime kinos

Nothing else compares

>that episode where he hits the pedo
It's pretty good, my parents used to watch it all the time

Does anyone like Rebus?

>paki

I used to work for the company that hired it's building to ITV for the original police station.
