Holy fuck this was fucking kino. What is the essential GOAT disastercore?

The Day after Tomorrow
Patriots Day
why is wahlberg trying so hard to be a "patriot"?
He IS a patriot you fucking shit
at least he has you fooled
That's just his newfound niche, like Liam Neeson being cast as a middle-aged badass
fook off with the wahlberg shilling.
Deepwater Horizon and Patriot's Day is completely TRASH.
Get the shills off my board REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>is
*are
and ur rong
Yeah, it was pretty intense disaster-kino.
Can't really remember last time I had one of those.
agreed. underrated and slightly swept under the radar.
it's definitely great for viewers who are interested in slice of life pieces. there's great exposition for the characters and you really feel like you got a good idea of who they are before shit ever hits the fan. of course if you're autistic you don't socialize so you probably find little value in most of the movie. nevertheless, once things go nuts, they did a great job of showing you the colossal forces that only earth could create. we're really messing with the wrong shit out there man. it's intense.
It's like Titanic if it was directed by Michael Bay.
guaranteed haven't seen either movie. fuck off back to your capeshit threads
>"Jamie could you pull up that video of the exploding oil rig again. There it is. Woah. We should be smoking DMT rather than drilling into the earth"
Go away this board is for star shit, capeshit, and baneposting
Who wins?
The entire Boston Police Department
vs
Some random mudslime who hides in a boat
Towering Inferno
shit that was good
Still one of the most comfy theatrical experiences I can remember.
the trailer looks dumb and tv movie of the week
The buildup to the shit happening is great
But iirc the lead gal actually hesitated in real life resulting in the deaths of a few people
Is Marky Mark the king of making money off real life tragedies?
Bravo, James.
GOAT title, GOAT artwork
I need to watch this
Explain or provide link please
Poseidon Adventure (1972)
The Happening.
He woulda stopped 9-11 if he was on dat plane, you tehahist fucking shit.
I like the remake as well. Elevator scene is GOAT
BP contractor here (refinery, not offshore)
I was incredibly impressed by the amount of research that went into this movie. They nail the little things. Even stuff that happens in the background that has no relation to the story (the BP corporate structure, technical jargon, even the uniforms)
why are you trying to poison hard working Americans all over the world?
I jsut saw it and it was better than I thought it would be and it was clearly very well researched. Patriots Day looks like pure trash though.
Patriot's Day is actually kino brother
>that explosion scene
holy fuck it was so good
I remember this and the old Poseidon Adventure from when I was young, , they're both kino
Did they studio ran into legal issues with BP/Sclumberger during production?
Fucking this
Best movie of the year. No Joke. Minimal love drama, no long winded monologues or speeches, no race politics.
Only one annoying feminist "You're a woman, shut up" scene, but who knows maybe something like that actually happened, even if it's played up for drama.
You'd have to be some kind of homosexual transkin communist to not find this movie riveting.
