Rackem

Blonde on Blonde > Revolver > Haven't heard the other two

Pet Sounds>Freak Out>Blonde On Blonde>Revolver
Nice to see you included Freak Out.

all I know is blonde on blonde is THE fucking GOAT. Saaaad eyed lady of the loooooow lands

Freak Out! > Pet Sounds >> Revolver >> Blonde on Blonde

this but the other way around

Who the fuck hasn't heard Pet Sounds? But those are the two best albums on that chart in the correct order, so you got that going for you.

Pet Sounds worse, Revolver best

soooo then revolver > blonde on blonde?

I've heard Wouldn't it be nice, but I cant really rank it since I havent heard the full LP

I try to go out of my way to not listen to what mu likes.

it's a 50 year old album you sheep

9.3/10 Pet Sounds
9.2/10 BOB
9/10 Revolver

7.4/10 Freak out

yes. none of them are particularly great albums though. revolver is like a 5/10

The Beatles never outdid Pet Sounds
they certainly didn't do it with their most criminally overrated album

blonde on blonde hasn't clicked? Bob's voice is so bittersweet on it.

no, it's better than 2 other albums

>The Beatles never outdid Pet Sounds
agree
Revolver as a collection of songs is HUGE, but lacks cohesion... lacks artistic statement

Blonde on Blonde is more fluid than Revolver

Couldn't agree more. Some great tracks on it, but it's a mediocre (album)

Revolver > Freak Out! > Blonde on Blonde > Pet Sounds
All are good though.

Everyone likes that album. You have to make an effort to not like it.

Pet Sounds > BoB > Revolver > Freak Out

Blonde on Blonde, Pet Sounds, Revolver, Freak Out

>fun fact: Blonde on Blonde and Pet Sounds were released on the same day

I'm a big bob Dylan fan, but carol kaye played bass on pet sounds, and I have a big sweet spot for her. Probably the best bassist of all time. I'm pretty sure she's on more recordings than any other player.

Pet Sounds>Freak Out!>BoB>Revolver.
Frank Zappa has the best album in his discography out of those four artists though.

You been smoking that wet little bitch boi

Pet Sounds = Revolver < BOB < Freak Out

Strongly disagree about the lack of cohesion. Revolver actually has one of the best flows from track to track at least for their catalog. George Martin certainly took care in the track listing. The key change from G on Got To Get You Into My Life to the C drone of Tomorrow never knows as if the album itself is doing a V to I resolution is genius in itself. I could mention more but there is plenty of info to read online.

Blonde on Blonde BARELY > Freak Out > Pet Sounds > Revolver

Revolver > Blonde on Blonde > Pet Sounds

I have not listened to Freak Out all the way through so I cant rate it, but it seems out of place on this list.

I agree

This exactly

Blonde on Blonde >> Revolver > Pet Sounds = Freak Out!

I'd probably sooner listen to Pet Sounds because it's my favorite Beach Boys album while Freak Out! is not my favorite Mothers album, but otherwise I'd say they are pretty equal, Revolver is slightly better than those two and Blonde on Blonde blows them all out of the water

Blonde on Blonde > Freak Out! > Pet Sounds > Revolver.

Revolver is the only one that isn't a 10/10 for me from that list. It's a 9/10. There are only great albums.

It's the most important albums of 1966

bob > freak out > pet sounds > revolver

Blonde on Blonde>>Pet Sounds>Revolver>Freak Out

67
Sgt Peppers>John Wesley Harding>In It For The Money>Smiley Smile

>Sgt. Pepper's
>even close to John Wesley Harding
You've gotta be fucking kidding me, Pepper's belongs at the back of your ranking but otherwise it's accurate (though there is a huge power gap between Harding and the other three)

Correct

We're Only In It is better than Sgt. Peppers and it's not from 67 you mong.

nag peppers was a step forward for the beatles and jwh was a step back (still amazing though)

jwh doesn't have a song that comes close to teh ambition of A Day In The Life let alone Within You Without You, LSD, She's Leaving Home, etc
