Bentley Garcia
My top 20 or so picks are probably my least interesting.
I'd say 21-100 has way more unique shit in it.
I like all those. DSOTM & The Mollusk are fantastic.
Best bjork album and second best TH.
Noice
Not my favorite MM album but still good.
+Glow Pt.2
White album is in my top 10, excellent choice.
Not my favorite MGMT, Bob Dylan, or Led Zeppelin albums, though all good.
Spiderland is alright, overrated so far as Post-hardcore goes imo. But still good.
Michael Smith
Nice picks on Elliott and Cohen. You seem cool.
Zachary Long
How do I make one of these album showcase Thingys?
Charles Howard
Amazing picks

Christopher Hernandez
Dominic Cruz
eyyy Exuma
top tier shit
Jaxson Walker
kishi bashi is a genius and people don't care enough about what he does, but i truly can't think of a more talented and lyrical artist who chooses to work in a pop framework. I respect you immensely
Adrian Cooper
holy shit I'm only on the first kishi bashi track to 151a and it's amazing
thank you
Kevin Sanders
Tried to keep it one album per band, otherwise it would look slightly different.
I love you.
Jordan Foster
I like the first version of TLOP but I didn’t love it.
That being said even the final version I didn’t immediately love. I liked it a lot but thought a lot of tracks were lacking.
It wasn’t till about the end of last year where it grew to my favorite of his.
Yeezus isn’t too far behind though
Totally agree my dude
By far my absolute favorite artist of all time (Kanye is the only other person who comes close) and he is insanely underrated.
I’ve been posting him the last few years on here and recently (past few months) I’ve finally started to see others anons posting and discussing him. Some have even mentioned they listened to him because of me (shit a dude in this thread just did).
It feels great to spread knowledge of his music to at least a few souls
You’re very welcome user
Hope you enjoy the rest of that album & his discography as much as I do
Cameron Davis

I still remember when I was a lil pleb like 5,6 years ago, I heard K on NPR talking about how he makes his violin loops, then he performed it all began with a burst. Shit floored me, I had never heard music that so openly fused genres together, but it was so bright and free and beautiful and not disjointed at all. But yeah, power to you, man. More people should hear about him
Liam Lopez
how often does everyones top 5 change? I feel like this has been my core for the past 3 years
Mason Reed

Jaxon Cook
+A Promise; Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished
+The Lonesome Crowded West
+Silent Alarm
Adam Reyes
My number 1 has been number one for almost 3 years
My number 2 is the newest at around 4 months
My number 3 is pretty old at about 2 years
My number 4 is about a year old
And my number 5 about 7 months
However all of these (4 being an exception) I’d all heard before they became favorites and took time to grow on me. And 4 is cheating since it’s by the same artist as one of my other top 5.
Ian Myers
Really hard to pick, since this changes a lot, most of these albums I listed aren't even the ones I am listening to much lately (aside from Pinkerton), but I consider them to be the ones which left the biggest impact.
I used to listen to the same album all the time and I've been striving to change that. I think it kinda improves moods somehow too.
I know Giles Corey will always be there though.
Good list, I really should give Pet Sounds a proper listen one day, I did, but at first it didn't grab me, but I think at this point, It definetelly would.
Austin Clark
I like it. Interesting taste.
Listen to Pet Sounds, it's a nice bit of sunshine. Your five is gloomy as hell, Pinkerton has its happy moments though.
Do you have long hair?
+++ On The Beach
Michael Hughes
>Do you have long hair?
...Yes? I cut them recently a bit, but they're still pretty long for a guy.
Now that you asked I'm spooked.

Question if you're still in this thread - why do you prefer Twin Fantasy over Teens of Denial? To me, ToD has far superior, more nuanced songwriting and is a lot better instrumentally. I would love to hear your thoughts. I love Twin Fantasy, but I'm just curious of why ToD is so commonly overlooked for it.
Nathaniel Wilson
Next time ill just lazypost
Lincoln Garcia
Blake Campbell
For me, twin just has so much more emotion behind it. Also, it feels a lot more consistent imo, without devolving into the same songs over and over. ToD is awesome, though
Nolan Gray
>implying favorite albums = exclusively what someone listens to
were you dropped on your noggin at birth or more recently? just curious
Luis Harris
>bad & wrong
Nah.
Shellac is better as far as stuff from close to the same time goes. Where more modern minor groups like Big Ups surpass Spiderland with every record they put out.
Spiderland isn’t bad at all, I’d dare say it’s essential the canon.
But it just isn’t that interesting on its own
Ryder Jackson
Henry Allen
do the board a favor and just refrain from posting at all please

Very similar music taste to me, I casually listen to most of those albums a lot.
