Wait, who? Is there somebody who seriously doesn't check the scaruffi score first?

>there are people who listen to albums that didn't score a 7 or higher
>there are people who listen to albums that didn't score a 6 or higher when they aren't even a fan of the band

I use to trust him but the more I got in depth on some of his highest rated albums, the more I realized he was prepared to highly rate mediocre crap just because it wasn't popular (which is so bizarre considering he almost exclusively has the most mainstream artists in his "best albums of all time" list)

Wrong, as a full Scaruffy drone the older I get the more I agree with him

Started from absolutely hating all this "best" albums to only being able to listen to them without getting bored out of my mind.

There are some overrated 8s and some underrated 7s but anything rated 9 is pure gold that only gets better with time

Is he right about the pink floyd's score?

>He will never know the true greatness of Limp Bizkit

I'm not taking the bait

He's never gonna review rock again, is he...

debatable

one of the most demented dance-pop anthems of all times... a masterpiece

do you think Scaruffi lost his virginity to this track?

Rock is dead. Rock remains dead. And we have killed it. How shall we comfort ourselves, the muderers of all muderers?

>Bowie used to be "style" for the sake of style, and he was briefly a real musician (no, not the collaborations with Brian Eno, but the mid 1990s). Now he seems after the ultimate definition of bad taste, while explaining what an incompetent musician he is. One of the most over-rated artists of his generation, David Bowie could have spared himself the embarrassing prophecy of "Never Get Old": as a matter of fact, he was born old.

>Bowie died of cancer in january 2016.

how can art thots and gay poseur men even recover from this?

Only animefags and trannies that cosplay as princess peach care about the mario of criticism.

Where did piero hurt you? Still Bowie remains best filter for hollow fools. I never met a Bowie fan I could respect in any way.

this is not the case. you should always check scruffy first. You can always form your own opinion regardless of what he says

what the fuck was he thinking

Is he right about it?

He’s right about everything

yes

it's really quite boring once you realize what kind of shit others were making at the time

>muderers

What was happening on 1966?

Blonde On Blonde
Pet Sounds
Black Monk Time

and that's just in rock music, you enter classical or jazz territory and The Beatles are meaningless

>The Beatles are meaningless

hit the nail on the head there.

Oh what instrument does he play again?

Pet Sounds is basically the album The Beatles wished they had been able to make.

Scaruffi played clarinet in high school (and was one of the greatest of all times)

No, but unironically, I partially translated an italian interview from the late '90s/early '00s on here once and he basically said he never played anything ever in his life but bought a small room organ once which he couldn't play for long as he received noise complaints by his neighbors so he sold it.
