start growing your nails out and pumping nylon user, someday you can open carry a revolver in school and have your hot brazilian wife you found in spain while studying bach and wagner in germany stand around the classroom in revealing clothing while teaching music courses at university and being a performing concert guitarist when you're not giving classes and telling your students how you're a 'texas gangster' and how mozart probably killed a punk with a sword once.
I always thought Ted Greene took the anti-Hitler facialhair to the next level in that coverphoto. The Mickey Baker Jazz books are excellent, btw. They are what Randy Bachman used to write most of his hits in the 60s/70s.
I'm not even the same guy. You just come across like a whiny faggot to me
Nathan Young
Anyone else in this board have periods when you play worse? By that I mean you can play the songs you know pretty well, but noodling around or playing over backing tracks something even slightly interesting, somehow stops being a skill you have? And all you can do is boringly go up and down some scale?
Xavier Butler
Anybody got any notes about EVH Wolfgangs? I've been eyeing a used one for a nice price, but I don't know much about them except the obvious. Like how are their necks?
Henry Ramirez
You’re the same guy lmao I haven’t been whining I’ve been making fun of you which is why you keep replying.
Jack Price
>Anyone else in this board have periods when you play worse? Chocolate helps.
yes, it gets better when my depression gets better
Mason Rodriguez
You didnt get the memo this personality is discontinued.
Wait for new roman personalities this month.
Wyatt Campbell
Now thats one nice chicken pickin GEETAR
Logan Roberts
True... Though I find that if I'm really realky down a couple of weird chords played for five minutes straight makes me get really into it and eventually start singing some bad stuff out, which is really therepeutic.
David Jenkins
Sup /gg/. I played guitar today, noodled then jammed to some ACDC, Kiss and BB King albums. I'm improvising well and putting licks together with attittude but I still have lots of ear and improv skills to develop. I noticed BB King's singing sounds just like his guitar playing, that means a lot and I'm going to follow that on my practice.
> already learned the intro to Wes Montgomery's "I've grown accustomed to her face" > trying to learn the rest of the song and putting the chords in the tab into easier to read chord boxes > all these chord changes in the space of 17 seconds
i was writing to pass as anonymous, only then decided to reply the faggot on the same post
Oliver Phillips
Thanks. I wish I didn't sell it.
Owen Clark
thats less than 1 chord per second faggot stop smoking weed
Camden Stewart
Your house is on fire! You're pretty strong but you could only manage to carry these out of the flames: 1 Acoustic Guitar, 1 Electric Guitar/Bass, 1 Amp, 3 pedals What do you grab?
My choices: Gibson F25 Folksinger, Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro, Fender Twin Reverb, smallsound/bigsound Fuck Overdrive, Fairfield Randy's Revenge, Strymon El Capistan
this guitar is the correct shape, but for some reason someone went and made the top all uneven. it's supposed to be flat. also way too many knobs. doesn't look like the correct length either.
>no barrel saddles >no humbuckers or P90s This is a good Tele.
Landon Cox
So, one?
Gavin Clark
I assume you're posting from the 70s, user? Sounds like it'd be easier to carry.
Dominic Reed
Gibson flying v Trace elliot 1980 gp11 Strymon timeline, boss ce-5 and digitech polara reverb
Jackson Hill
i agree. barrel saddle bridges are just dumb.
i don't see why i'd have two of the same thing.
Easton King
im posting from 2018 with good taste.
Dylan King
If they're so great, you'd want multiple. Plus there's different versions.
Charles Nelson
Kek, let dad play his acdc riffs in peace
Owen Roberts
>acdc >les paul
Leo King
why would i want multiple? there aren't different versions, they're just telecasters. it sounds like a telecaster. maybe i can see having a second telecaster to letting other people play when they come over, but why would you be friends with someone who doesn't own a telecaster?
William Morgan
Ok dad we get it
Luis Harris
im not your dad, faggot
Aaron Robinson
Uninformed on telecasters here, what is the advantage of using what's on the tele in the picture as opposed to the barrel saddles? And why do people use barrel saddles in the first place if the alternative is better?
barrel saddles are necessary for the absolute Tele tone.
Ryan Wright
Pretty good violin shit t. violinist
Carter Garcia
barrel saddles were just there, originally. i guess they were easy. but they don't have any advantage over modern bridge styles. no real difference in tone and six saddles are far easier to intonate and setup.
i know for a fact you could not tell the difference in a blind test. they have slightly less sustain, which can be a good thing. but that should be solved by the adjustable bridge mute that i'm developing, where a little lever adjusts the pressure of a foam roller against the strings, allowing you to choose how long notes take to die out - you can get banjo effects like this.
James Sanchez
Individual saddles intonate more accurately than barrel saddles. Intonation is far more important than an extremely autistically subtle (if it's even there) change in tone.
barrell saddles can get enough intonation. tone is more important than an extremelly autistically precise intonation, that will go sharp when you pick anyway.
Slight differences in tone are absolutely not more important than intonation when EQ exists.
Brayden Martinez
someone has to set up a blind test where you have to guess whether the sound is coming from the tele with barrels or the tele with six saddles.
no one will ever do better than luck.
Hunter Moore
You set your intonation so it's accurate with your average picking strength. Tone knobs can fix tone. Tone knobs can't fix intonation. Intonation wins: flawless victory.
Jayden Sanchez
Slight differences in intonation are absolutely not more important than tone when polyphonic pitch correction exists.
Samuel Miller
You set your intonation so it's accurate with your average picking strenght. Strat saddles can't make tele tone. Tone wins.
>unintonated six saddle with EQ and melodyne pitch correction master race
Carson Young
THere are different versions
Jacob Nguyen
If you do bending, why you're worring about fretted note intonation?
Gavin Ramirez
Full chords clean up the neck should make the intonation issues obvious. That's the test I would propose, anyhow.
Samuel Reed
This is the stupidest fucking post I have read in here in a long time. We're done with this conversation. I pray to God you're only pretending to be this retarded.
Noah White
>jazz
Ayden Hernandez
i mean for tone. all you need is a tuner device to see if it's intonated.
but a test to see if a person can hear the tonal difference between a modern bridge and a barrel saddle ashtray would be different.
Grayson Johnson
woah who the fuck are you
Leo Mitchell
>who the fuck being this out of character learn to LARP this personality.
