How expensive is everything in Australia?
Most importantly how much for a 24 pack of beer and cigs?

Think the cheapest, nastiest full strength beer you can get is about $40 a case, maybe cheaper if you can find something on special. Cigs I think are about $25-30, gave up smoking years ago so dunno exactly what they are
$60 for a 50g champion sadly
Won't see much change from $100 for a nice carton and a 30 pack
anything that uses Australian labour is expensive
e.g. Lunch will cost you $10 MINIMUM because someone had to put the sandwich together.
I assume $10 AUD is only about 6€ which is less than I spend here.
Well yeah but you can put it together yourself for about 3 and a sandwich press
Why did you care?
What good is it having a high GDP per capita when shit is as expensive as this.
Because I'm planning on visiting. What did you think shithead?
Not everything is as expensive as alcohol and tobacco. They're expensive because of a retarded tax system.

I pay $30 for a slab here
durries are expensive because of all the taxes the government threw on them to stop people from smoking
>slab
>case
>not calling it a carton
Fuck non QLDers are retarded
>suicideland
Tbh beer nomenclature is completely fucked in this country, every state has different terms for shit
who no bf here
The melanomas get us before the suicidal thoughts take over thank you very much
Yeah true. Especially beer glass sizes in different states.
thankfully a pint is standard, which is all you should be having anyway
Where have you all been? This board's been so dull lately.
killed myself after the cricket
Not in SA it's not but they've always been a bit weird those cunts.
yeah isn't it an imperial pint or some shit?

Government revenue raising, people need to get pissed or have a smoke so the tax is there to bash them around the anus just that bit more

Slab is Melbum and Vic slang, in NSW its a case or carton
>the entire country is either nsw or vic
typical eastern stater
Spent quite a few years in WA and the NT, its not exactly my favourite place in the world.
>the entire country is either nsw or vic
Well yeah, pretty much. Anyway, the only time I've ever noticed people referring to a slab is with a 30 pack of tinnies, but even then it's usually just a case of piss.
is it not?
you're not gonna seriously tell me perth is relevant right?
Pubs in my town seem to have agreed on different sizes just to fuck with people. One does schooeys and pots, another pints and pots, the other everything
