How do I get good at learning to sing and play at the same time
>just practice, be good at guitar
Yes obviously but what are some specific drills and things I can do to refine this ability?
Jace Garcia
practice with a metronome to get a solid sense of rhythm. one of the reasons it's hard to play and sing at the same time is because you have to think about the playing. if you play long enough and practice regularly with a metronome you should have no problem with it later.

you're 14 years old and you're not supposed to be posting here

Austin Stewart
What kind of guitar is this? That's a sexy shape.
Jose Evans
Any anons have one of these? I love the look of a nice wood grain and a thin clear coat. I would want to have a locking tremolo installed. Never heard anything about chapman guitars. If this one sucks an alternative would be appreciated. Preferably in the same price range.
>tfw the old personalities had better conversations

I'm learning guitar. I know how to play saxophone, but this is my first sting instrument. I'm using justinguitar. Why don't I learn the actual notes? How do I read scale charts like pic related? Are chords the same pitch/sound as the root note they're named after?
>tfw 3 months since last gig >tfw 6 months since last time I got laid
musician's life was meant to be different
Blake Turner
Tidy up them cables boy
Also hows the strap lock holding now?
Parker Ramirez
musicians don't get laid anymore, they just sit in front of computers
Oliver Perry
should be self-evident
Jonathan Young
Same as everyone else, then.
Josiah Powell
For something recorded off the floor with no effects, mixing, leveling, it sounds pretty nice. Maybe next time do some vocal warmups
Nathan Powell
it looks like a nice bass to me. a few too many strings for my taste but that's just me.
Michael Taylor
Play in a cover band. No one gives a shit about hearing some plebs "originals" that much. If you can play a bunch of Fleetwood Mac and Journey, you will get actual cash/respect from venue owners and an armada of 40 year old pussy.
I actually gave up cover bands for playing originals with a band that actually got their shit together and were playing ~50 shows a year. Originals are far more fun, better gigs, better road trips, better after parties, better memories. I really got tired of playing cover shows and its 3 hour long sets. Getting paid was nice but by the time I'm done playing there are 20 people left and you don't really socialize. Plus all the musicians have shit personalities and its hard to find normal guys.
Juan Flores
you can probably open up the back and just push it back in place without even having to remove the speaker
Camden Cox
Take amp apart Take cover of grill off Take staples out Re stretch grill Put new staples in Put grill over back on
Blake Jackson
>giving a fuck about the aesthetical state of your cab
cute
Evan Perry
if it's smothering the speaker it's probably muffling the sound a bit
Ryder Cruz
>not giving a fuck about the aesthetical state of your cab
t. punk "musician"
Henry Lewis
When you load it in and out of a vehicle 5 times and its scratched to shit you kind of stop giving a fuck. If its just sitting pretty in your bedroom then you stop giving a fuck even more unless its some stupid boutique stuff.
You put it in an amp travel case you mong. How cheap can you get and still expect to get payed?
Grayson Kelly
Aesthetics are important. It's like saying that you shouldn't care about a chip in your tooth. Just as your music is an extension of yourself, your gear is your arm with which you paint. Care for the appearance of all that you are involved with, because everything you touch is also you.
Xavier Walker
How poor grammar and spelling can you have and still expect to be taken seriously?
Jacob Gutierrez
Aesthetics, sure. But there is the annoying overly careful attitude of certain type of people. Once you start treating your gear like its a pet and not a tool to express yourself you start missing the point.
David Torres
If aesthetics are important, then he should go through the modest effort to tighten the facade of his amp.
Chase Ross
It's okay. They're made in World Musical Instruments, just like Schecters, so you can expect good craftsmanship. Quality control depends on the company. Schecter usually charges more for their instruments, because they take a bit more time with quality control. Not sure about Chapman, so be sure to check them out in person. Really, if you like wood grain finishes and trems, you can also check out the Schecter Banshee or whatever series they got going. Chapmans ain't a bad little brand. I personally hate the inlay thing they have going on, so there's that. There are a few more companies that have their guitars made in that factory, but I don't remember anymore, so that's why my main comparison was with Schecter. I also own one, so I'm a bit biased.
Levi Miller
It's okay user, it's just that your opinions are wrong
Has it occurred to you that the guy you're replying to might not want an L{ style guitar?
Carson Barnes
*LP
Christopher Jenkins
They don't just sell LP guitars
Julian Collins
Mate of mine has a Chapman. Good guitar, decent sound for the money. Looks awful but it's just preference.
Charles Brown
Well posting a pic of one while you suggest them doesn't really give that impression, I don't see why you didn't just post a pic of a non LP Agile then
Nathaniel Walker
If he'd posted a picture of a non-LP Agile, you'd just be having a go at him for posting an Agile Stratocaster: >Has it occurred to you that the guy you're replying to might not want a strat style guitar?
Mason Nguyen
Well look at the pic he posted, it's obviously not a LP style guitar, so assumptions can be made that the type of guitar he's originally posting is the type he's looking for
