I love that bass lick just before the chorus. And the way the second refrain flows into the following verse, “Life expiring in the.. Snow white side streets of cold New York City”

I know it can be confusing if you aren’t looking closely, but this is actually that boris album that just looks like a Nick Drake album, sorry to embarrass you like this user.

Yeah, things like that are why I love it so much. You can really picture the scenery of the song.

There is a Boris song where they do something very similar to the guitar part at 5:12 in Providence but for the life of me I can’t remember which one. Might have even been one of the non-Boris tracks on one of their split albums Christ they’ve put out a lot of material
