This is a question for bluesy players. I got myself way in over my head for a college event I'm participating in where I need to play guitar in front of a crowd and I planned on using a song I'm writing similar to youtube.com/watch?v=mRB-GyN4v-k . the problem is that I'm trying to program a backing drum track similar to that one and idk the notation for a backing track like that. Also idk what kind of synth that is in the back so I might just scrap the church organy sounding synth and use a double bass vst or something.
I'm asking for help on the drum beat here because it's for me playing guitar and you guys probably know more about blues than /prod/, I'm going to do it at the same tempo, but maybe just a little slower. I can play guitar fine, and I can write black/doom metal no problem, but I've only done a bluesy song once before.

Blues guy here. Kind of unrelated, but still related: the best advice I can give you is don't use drum samples that sound like real drums. That always ends up sounding like shit. Trying to sound like a real drummer never sounds good. Use electronicy/technoey-sounding drums. It sounds much better, even for blues.
