no kidding!
>Robin Hood: Origins
Dropped just from the title.
Could be worse. Could be set in modern times.
If he'd followed up that statement with a more than decent film maybe I'd give him the time of day.
Then Silence came out.
Fuck off, Marty.
Could be a black transgender wo*an.
>Scorsese disappointed
>releases this abomanation

some jew
I've been disappointed with Scorsese since the turn of the century tbqfhwy familia
Didn't we just do a robin hood movie like two years ago? And the Guy Richie king arthur movie that will fail because it's 2017 and nobody cares about generic gritty "realistic" historical action movies.
Gun-fu but with archery?? Hmmm
Here's Rutger Hauer shooting a repeating xbow from horseback. Not in frame is his badass falcon, clawing out retinas and shrieking for the camera. That is all.
holy fuck. what a fuck title.
There was nothing wrong with Ridley Scott's Robin Hood. It was about as goo as you could expect from a Robin Hood movie.
>Jamie Foxx as Little John
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Remember that time Brian Helgeland wrote a screenplay for a Robin Hood movie that literally everyone in Hollywood fought over?
Remember when Ridley Scott somehow got the rights to it?
Remember how Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe said, "Nah... let's just remake Kingdom of Heaven and Gladiator."
I remember.
AYO HOL UP
*hits you upside the head with a staff
kinda bland
kevin costner's was better, even if his accent was ridiculous for the setting
Movie oscillated between being ""This is powerful as shit" and "Hurry the fuck UP"
>French using Higgins boats in reverse D-Day
This bugged me
Also I don't hate the movie, but it bums me out that the script it came from was so much better:
>Protagonist is Sheriff of Nottingham
>Investigating murders leads him into the woods where he meets Robin Hood
Instead we got a generic origin story you a generic Robin Hood movie.
Such a shame
Yeah, you forgot to mention how that original script had a love triangle between Marion, the Sheriff and Robin.
Thank god they didnt do a soap opera-esque Robin adaptation.
my man
I remember that. It was just called Nottingham. Sounded awesome from the concept
Nobody likes Robin Hood anymore
