So how is he able to beat one of the the most powerful sith lords in history with literally only a few weeks of jedi training?

higher midichlorian count after anakin lost half his body

Umm...explain please?

He had the high ground

Vader was intentionally going easy on him. I don't think he could kill his own son

this

When did he beat Vader?

OP, you should watch the movies.

Vader wanted to lose.

>my ally is the force, and a powerful ally it is.

First Yoda looks like a ghetto meme

Sheev wanted Vader to lose. Vader was conflicted but fighting in earnest. It was only after Luke spazzed out over Leia that Luke had the upper hand.

It was three years between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

pretty sure it was less than a year

>So how is he able to beat one of the the most powerful sith lords in history
He didn't
>with literally only a few weeks of jedi training?
Stuff happens in between the movies.

yoda puppet in episode 1 looked older than original one. LOL get cancer george "just fuck my franchise up and rape its corpse" lucas, you will NEVER be a good filmmaker

Because Luke was a prodigy, he was so one with the force that it pretty much made him a God tier fighter, which was amped up when he hulked out against Vader.

How do people not understand this

...

but luke never trains with yoda beyond what we see in ESB

>He didn't

Am I just imagining him knocking him on the ground and cutting his hand off? The Emperor basically waltzed on over and clapped him on the back for kicking Vader's ass.

less jedis were around so he had more force for himself

straight white cis male privilege

nothing wrong with that

He had the high ground.

That makes too much fucking sense.

Holy shit.

Luke is a failed Jedi. His defeat of Vader was planned by the Emperor to get a new apprentice.

When he defeats Vader, its through his hatred, not balance. Vader can't do the same because Luke is the only person he doesn't hate.

If Vader hadn't been able to collect himself and throw the Emperor over the side Luke would have likely been tortured into becoming a new Darth apprentice repeating the sins of his father.

this and also Vader wanted Luke to destroy the Emperor

episode 1 is atrocious

between a new hope and empire it was 3 years
between empire and return of the jedi it was 6 months

...

pretty much this

Anakin was always the chosen one, he brought balance to the force and fulfilled the prophecy. Bitch ass Luke dnddonutin

Palpatine's master was Plagueis. Who "had the power to keep those he loved from dying" Plagueis taught everything he knew to Palpatine, who in accordance with the rule of two, murdered Plagueis. Palpatine was actually the one keeping Vader alive through the force all these years. When Vader was fighting Luke Palpatine lessened the physical aid that he gave Vader to let Luke kill him and take his place. That's also why Vader died soon after Sheev, who wasn't around to keep him alive with his force powers.

how do you know it was only a few weeks?

So he could have saved Pademe? Savage tbqmfh familia.

That was retconned
