Will we ever get a good Ayn Rand movie? I fucking loved Atlas Shrugged and Objectivism is god-tier ideology, but the movie of Atlas Shrugged sucked.

At the risk of beating a dead horse, King Vidor's The Fountainhead with Gary Cooper is a good film.

what was wrong with the atlas shurgged movie?

wtf this truly was kino

>I fucking loved Atlas Shrugged and Objectivism is god-tier ideology
Fuck off back to your containment site.

Ok, but DONT DREAM of asking me for help when you need it.

Fuck off retard.

>god tier ideology
wew lad

I liked the first one but the other 2 weren't very good

Ideology for sociopaths. I think it's a cool idea, but let's be real.

>I fucking loved Atlas Shrugged and Objectivism is god-tier ideology,

Underage banned

I'd like to see you try to make a successful film in this restrictive market which pushes back in individual innovation and rewards the safe, formulaic approach to assembly line filmmaking.

Isn't the whole ayn rand ideology that she's a dumb whore who only takes stuff/help and never gives/helps anyone else

All of this disdain for objectivism from these idiots just legitimize it.

I like Rand and I said I liked the part 1 movie. It looked like after the first one the rest were low budget with new actors and such; just not as good as the first to me

>No idea what this ideology is.
>The loudest critics always turn out to be American.
>read up on it.
>Sounds like an ideology Americans would love.

i am literally le john galt xD

Why do you keep making this thread?

see

if i make it as a director I will make a good version. or at least a fan made version thats not cancer

I would like to see The Fountainhead done again as well

Ayn Rand hated creativity. Hence, films based off of her work can never be good.

There needs to be good source material, and Ayn Rand/Objectivism is trash.

Pretty much. She died at a government funded hospice though and for a while was an illegal immigrant.

Civilization exists when people help one another; this means their loved ones, family, friends, community, and nation.

explain why

After Last Photographer or Justice League 2

>God-tier

Ok, objectivism may raise some valid concerns about authoritarism and its use of "self-sacrifice and altruism" to oppress the individual for the "good" of the state, but that doesn't make it god- tier

Srsly, I would be equally concerned with people that worship "Atlas Shrugged (a book with a 70 pg long filibuster and whose main antagonists are nothing more than strawmen, rather than real socialists and/or statesmen) and those who love The communist manifesto.

Although, to be fair, Marx wasn't as much of a hypocrite as Ayn Rand

REMINDER
>Ayn Rand got her idea of America from watching Hollywood movies. In her novel, she promoted the Russian Jew’s fantasy version of what it meant to be an American. It was, of course a caricature, but it was a caricature which spoke to the deepest aspirations of deracinated second-generation ethnics. The irony, of course, was that in her desire to assimilate, Ayn Rand proposed as the ideal American a caricature of the avaricious Jew.

I had an idea of making an Anthem short film and it might be the first project I work on just to see how it turns out

I've always wanted to make a movie adaptation of the Fountainhead, with its genuinely more interesting characters than the ones in AS

I wish I had fifty million dollars

Wishing will do you no good, young man.

Just watch that Hannibal tv series, hes pretty much the closest thing to a Randian ubermensch youll get on screen.
