like, I'm sad there's gonna be no Clerks 3, but on the other hand, Jay & Silent Bob is my favorite movie of all time, so...
i don't understand why Jersey Girl got so much shit. it just seemed like a chick movie. it wasn't particularly great but it didn't seem like the worst thing ever.
same thing with Yoga Hosers, he even said it was for like 12 year old girls which makes sense to me. i watched it, it had a few amusing moments but it wasn't like watching some total garbage like The Devil Inside.
he just seems really mediocre. not completely horrible, not a great filmmaker, just coasting along with his own niche audience and making films for very specific audiences. i don't get why people hate him so much. i don't go into romcoms and then bitch and moan that i didn't like them, i'm not the intended audience.

Chasing Amy is a good movie. Clerks is a classic, and Clerks 2 has some ok funny parts. Everything else is either bad, or just misguided (red state had so much potential, but no real direction)
Brian O'Halloran wouldn't, but Jeff Anderson sued, or tried to sue, the Weinsteins over lack of payments on Clerks 2. They were offered points on gross, but Jewish accounting resulted in them not getting paid.
