Empire Strikes Back, the Star Destroyer's communications arrays get taken out by asteroids. The bridge can be taken out by suicide bombing A-Wings in Return of the Jedi. Defensive capabilities of ships in the Star Wards universe isn't much better than modern real world tech.

It managed to take out pretty mobile Rebellion cruisers no problem. The recharge time on the super laser didn't seem too long, not to mention the gun towers and hangar full of tie fighters.
