What's to be done about this ""league""?

The salary cap in American sports is the way to go honestly, but it would never work for soccer because players would just go elsewhere where they're not capped. It would have to be a huge, FIFA-wide at all levels move, which has no chance of ever happening.

Join it with austria and switzerland

>muh salary cap
The league with the most parity is the one without a salary cap

Salary caps will never work, just like FFP. Rich clubs would cap the salaries and pay the rest of the money through fake sponsorships.

Or we could just change the bundesliga ownership laws.

Over the long haul though, the salary cap increases the odds of parity. It doesn't guarantee it all the time, obviously.

>City five points clear
still more competitive than the"""""""""P""""""""""""""""""L""""""""""""""""""

Woah ive never seen this top 6 before

>German delusion

>team that hasn't won the league in 4 years is top
>team that hasn't won the league in 5 years is second
>a team that hasn't won the league is third

Thanks for proving just how shit bundesliga is by comparison.

How would that help though?

It's not like the epl isn't just as predictable and boring

so if your not a fan of one of these teams you are stuck hoping to have a 1/5000 season like leicester?

No idea how salary caps work and no cunts will ever tell me. They just keep yelling muh salary caps like gorillas.

We had a top 4 pre-2009 and I don't anyone complaining. Surely top 6 is more exciting.

>City
>Relevant before 2009
>Spuds
>Relevant before they became Bale +10
>Chelsea
>Relevant before Roman
>Shitsnal
>Relevant
>Liverpool
>Literally just broke back into the top 4 along with Manure

So how many months have you been watching now?

>muh top 6
Liverpool have never won the premier league
Spurs have never won the premier league
Arsenal haven't won the title in 13 years

The total salary you pay to your entire squad has to be below a certain amount iirc. That and/or there is a cap on the max salary you can pay one player.

No one has defended the PL in almost a decade. So I'd say it's definitely not as predictable as bayernliga.

I dont know I just like the idea
Id also join wales ireland north ireland and socotish league into one and sweden denmark and norway another

>Red Bull bought themselves a team
>forgot to buy the refs
doomed to fail

>1/5000 season like leicester?

You mean a 5000/1 season, lad. But at the moment, yeah, that is the situation. The other teams in the league have two other opportunities to win a trophy throughout the season though.

So every team is only allowed to pay the same amount e.g. Man Utd's wage budget is the same as that of Bournemouth?

Would Bayern even be a top half team in the premier league?

And Man Utd haven't won it for four seasons. City and Chelsea have won alternately the last four times. Chelsea won it last season: guess who will win it this?

Their system isn't transferable to football at all. They don't even have transfer fees. Salary caps and drafts can't work here, thankfully. Commies OUT.

Germany doesn't have an 'fair' distribution of TV rights so that doesn't help.

nice try

Americans, so capitalistic they allow sport leagues to be so private they can practice comunism

>City and Chelsea have won alternately the last four times.

This isn't correct.

Oh shit, you're right. Still, I guess City did sort of win it in 2016.

But we do, it's just that TV money is way lower than for the other top leagues.

You don't, the top gets 3 times what the bottom gets once you factor in your overseas rights. Unless was changed for the current cycle.

American sports leagues are a reflection of their society. Socialist welfare for the rich and capitalist competition for the poor.

Based fact poster

American sports are tailored to be entertainment in the old bread and circuses style without the pretensions of fairness or old athletic competitions based on equal opportunity. Ironically that has turned out to make them way more fair. Meanwhile European football is organized like it was still local boys from 1900 going on about it.

The PL system is 'fairer' but the big teams are still making a bit more. Video that explains the breakdown here:

(I really like this channel's content)

>The PL system is 'fairer' but the big teams are still making a bit more
Yes but the gap between top and bottom is double in the Bundes what it is in the PL.

I wasn't aware of that tbqh. Bundes kind of projects itself as a league of financial regulation.

I meant when it comes to broadcasting revenue, if that wasn't clear. And I don't know what you mean by regulation, but they do sell their TV rights collectively so I guess that's sort of like regulation? Kinda? Don't know.

I wonder which English team will put Bayern out of the CL.

>watching bundesligo
You did this to yourself

>implying punished PulsiGOD won't win the league for Dortmund single handedly

dumb frogposter

Fuck off commie

Did anyone in Germany really think that Dortmund and/or Leipzig would pose as a credible threat to Bayern?

test

Not with the BAR (bayern assist referee) in place now. I literally turned off after that red for orban. What a fucking joke, the whole game will be ruined by the occasional harshest intepretation of the letter of the law being applied through invisible assistant referees in favour of the big name clubs whenever ((they)) deem it necessary. German clubs will fail so hard in champions league without this happening for them!

"Sports league to be private"
What, arent all leagues private?

>salary cap
Not even communist countries do this.

communists countries don't have premium sports leagues

I hate buyern so goddamn much ;_;

learn the rules you fucking slantmonkey

Germans are happy Bayern get to refball their way to the title this year due to media induced irrational hatred of DA BULLS.

That red card woul have never been given the other way around.
Just like Naby's red on Wednesday.
Just like Jung's red the week before.

Not to speak of the penalty decision on Wednesday and Bayern being actually allowed to play Murderball.

Sup Forums could put a football team together in England and, theoretically, climb the leagues until reaching the top. The premier league couldn't do anything about it.

>watching Bayernwinsliga ever

Thankfully Serie A is back and we can forget about bundesliga forever.

One day soon you will all realise the ayy league is the patrician league of choice

Honestly watch quite a bit of A-League

Does he even start regularly?

itt. mad shareholders and consumers

Was wondering how long it would take for one of my fellow burgers to spew commie jew bullshit. You never fail me espee
