Now that makes me lose the mysticism of this

Aconcagua, 6900 mts

6893 Meters and biggest volcano in the world

...

Why? You still don't know what lies beneath Kebnekaise

Mount Mckinley

not the highest altitude (1200m)
but have more base to peak height than the highest mount

...

was expecting a forest to surround the mountain but i only see flat ground
anyway this is the aconcagua, say hi to it

Will take my bike for a ride there this monday

In the middle of the Ocean, too.

now that is an aesthetic mountain

only the very best for us

NOTE!!!!
I posted the wrong mountain. Pic related is actually the 2 peaks of Kebnekaise

Olympus
2917 meters elevation (9570 feet)
2355 meters prominence (7726 feet)

There is forest pretty close to the mountain

>his country's highest mountain is named Kebabkäse

nomen est omen, eh, Sven?

That's better

>forests at 7 kilometers above sea level

Monte Rosa, shared with Switzerland.

>Monte Roastie

...

I don't see the gods in that picture

The Gods are dead

>Many people have died trying to climb these mountains ITT
Scary

Tons of bodies from climbers are being found because the permaforst is melting.
Pic related is one of those piste preperation vehicles that had an accident and fell down the glacier 37 years ago.

>Citlaltepetl
Highest volcano in north America
It went to sleep shortly after the conquest of Mexico
5.6 km elevation

I knew a guy who died climbing pic related

Another thing is that the village bellow has been evacuated because there's a chance part of the glacier is gonna break off.

Thanks global warming, almost hoping for bigass volcano to blow so we can have a decent winter again.

Corrán Tuathail
it's about a 1km high lol

Ireland doesn't have the highest mountains. But it has very aesthetic ones

That's not Kebnekaise at 2097. That's Tolpagorni at 1662m. I have been to the Keb peak. There's a glacier in the bowl and another marking the formal peak. It's much bigger than that. Tolpagorn is next to the main mountain.

The Zugspitze viewed from my hometown. It's partially in Austria, but the peak is in Germany.

I noticed that

Close up and better quality. I'm not sure but this is probably from the Austrian side.

...

völlig entartet, war das eigentlich die Idee der ösis die ganze Scheiße da rauf zu klatschen? Ich persönlich finde ja schon ein Gipfelkreuz hat nichts auf einem Berg zu suchen.

The Mont Blanc/Monte Bianco. Highest point in Europe. It's in the Alps.
I don't remember if the peak is in Italy or in France tho.

...

Kinabalu, 4.1km

It's Denali now you racist!

>ein muslimisches Gebetshaus
schmeißt die Öfen an

does the name Kinabalu mean anything? Looks good

Not that I know of, probably the name dates back to animism era religion of the Sabah natives, its considered a sacred mountain by local aborigines.

Not the highest. But a very aesthetic mountain from Sweden

Nice. Reminds me a bit of the Höfats. It's apparently very hard to climb because of the grass all the way up to the summit.

...

Bump

die… hochöfen? :DDDDD
