You plow through the middle at full speed.

More safely, aesthetically, and efficiently than an intersection.

round
a
butt

magnets

you pass straight through the middle with pyour pick-up

It doesn't.

You enter and then exit the road you want, all without ever stopping unless someone is passing in front of you when you enter.

What is the point of the inside lane

How does this work?

They use roundabouts in Utah.

They are garbage.

If your turn is later in the circle you can pull in there to let others who are turning sooner get out. It's mostly only for heavier traffic times

This shit is real, isn't it?

if you want one of the latter exits, its better to pick an inside lane
if you want the first or second exit, its better not to take it tho

B-beautiful

I love roundabouts

[[visible concern]]

there's a roundabout in my neighborhood
I've been avoiding it for years

>Amerimanuals

but it seems easy to crash the car in the other lane

You go in and exit where you need to. Works well with light traffic or if you're coming down mainstream, but go fuck yourself if you need to merge from a side street in heavy traffic.

I love very much America and all, but as a Nantais, one thing I dislike about America is your lack of roundabouts. Here in Nantes roundabouts are a tradition, they are everywhere, we have more roundabouts than any city in France.

if you are in the inner lane you're supposed to take the lane of the left when you exit so theres not that much of an issue (guys in the outer lane take the lane on the right)
as a rule of thumb, if you're not sure what to do just take the outer lane always.

...

The roundabouts in America are fairly simple compared to ones in Europe.

I don't know

my city has them and I fucking hate them

how is this complicated

Only if you drive on the wrong side of the road

Yield if a car is coming or just make your turn.
