>all 3 goalies playing well and team flying high
>have to move to 4th goalie who clearly isn't NHL ready
>the dream slowly dies

I suppose it had to happen sometime

At least we can scream JUST until the end of time.

Is Vegas playing far more defensively now that Lagace in in goal? Past couple games have seemed way less aggressive.

They should. Only a matter of time till the 5th goalie has to make his debut.

>their backup goalie is literally a 19 year old who has fuckall pro experience

predicting legace dies this game and the backup refuses to play

...

im thinking next game. each goalie has to start 3 games

subban and dansk looked great though.

Also two triples and a double digits in this thread already.

>about 18 inches down from the knob

damn.

Is there any other teams that are good to follow when VGK aren't playing? Just started watching hockey this season.

was lagace breakdancing?

Tampa Bay Lightning should be really good this year and they play great hockey

Cheers man! I'll check em out :)

Can anyone explain to me why Lagace has gone to the bench before the end of the last two games?

I didn't catch the game, but sometimes they'll sacrifice a goalie to put another man on the ice instead. Usually they do that when they're feeling desperate and want to go all out aggressive to score a goal. Especially if they're wanting to force a tie before the game ends to go into OT.

When you need a goal to tie the game, replace the goalie with a skater so you have a 5 on 4. It increases your chances of scoring a goal, but obviously most of the time the other team gets an open net goal

Empty net? You can only have 6 men on the ice at a time, most people opt for 5 players and a goalie, but if you want you can have 6 players on the ice rushing the other team without a goalie. It's risky because obviously no one is there to block shots, but the man advantage can give you an edge on scoring.

Ahhh OK then that all makes sense - particularly in this case! Thanks guys
