Anybody else just love this movie?

The only things it suffers from is a few budget problems and general foreign movie stupidity.

However this movie excels in
>Characters
>Plot
>Cinematography
>Mis en scene

All key ingredients to make a great film

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE TRAIN IS CAPITALISM

It represents socialism retard

Not sure if you're trolling, but I honestly don't see how anyone can enjoy the plot. The cinematography was pretty good, but everything else was utter shit, and the plot above everything. I honestly don't see how it got even moderately good reviews, it was honestly one of the worst movies I've seen in a while. Do movie reviewers just like inaccurate and lazy metaphors?

dude class struggle lmao

I also need to stop saying "honestly" so much.

It's textbook capitalism, retard.

t. capitalist

>being this retarded

DELETE THIS!!!

I remember watching it drunk out of my mind by questionable cheap vodka
All I can remember is something about bars of black soap being currency or something

Who rear boxcar dweller here?

it didn't bother me. I guess I don't know the directors intentions if this was suppose to be preachy but I took it more as a what if scenario. Yes I notice the class representation but imo I never saw it trying to directly perused the viewer. Just absured/accurate representation of what would happen

Rear trainbro represent

Food rations. Representation of rich and poor with good intentions through violent means. Yeah, socialism. I now the main character didn't wink at the camera and shrug while sighing "socialism, am I right or what?" so you probably didn't pick it up. Faggot

I don't know, I feel like it fails even more in that regard. It's filled to the brim with plotholes, lack of realism, and a lot of plot threads that don't tie together. There isn't really any character development either. As a flat out action film it succeeds at the beginning, but I found it really ended up being a boring nonsensical slog once they got past the "fish warriors".

They're limited to eating roach bars because of who they are
Are you forgetting what socialism is all about you toothless faggot

>thinking you can have an actual discussion about this movie on Sup Forums Beta edition 0.785561

words cant describe how shit this film is. If you are in this thread thinking it looks interesting please don't bother

You're a retard, not that anything less should be expected from someone that watches Reddit Letter Media.

I would describe this movie as:

> I love everything about the movie but the movie itself.

Honestly in the top 10 worst films I have ever watched. It's just Bizarre in a shit way

>hey guys, vegetation is coming back, in about 15 years there might be enough to sustain life so lets wait it out
>oh wait, i crashed the train now lol
it was dumb

>that fucking fish scene

You're about as tart as a bowl of salt drenched in lemon juice

Their plan wasn't to derail the train

i liked it. it had a divine comedy feel to it.

Sorry man, but this movie was really beyond derivative. It's been done to death, and done many times better in the past. The writing is painfully obvious most of the time. Chris Evans' performance isn't so bad but the characters are thin. I'll give you that it looks good for the most part, but it's not an intelligent movie despite its efforts. It's a cool concept I guess, but I don't even think it manages to make up for its lack of substance with style. In fact, most of its substance is its style. Which is ridiculous half the time. I don't know. It's plot is just attenuated, uninspired shit in my opinion. That being said, I don't totally hate it. To each their own I guess.

the gook who knew about the plants coming back, not captain america

He also wasn't going to destroy it either, he wanted to jump out. He was sick of being stuck in there, he saw it as imprisonment

The train operated in the exact way communist states do .. if the writer was intending to portray capitalism then he is fucking retarded...

Why do you want every movie to be realistic, user? It's a fun stylised dystopia with interesting cinematography and action. I won't call it a great movie but it's pretty good and what's more important refreshing in the time when action and sci-fi are dominated by cape-clones and inspired remakes.

then how do you explain the children?

>the train operated in the exact way communist states do
With a functional multiple-class system that is determined by your parents' class, a wholly successfully oppressed proletariat, and a functional leader that believed that both were a mainstay in order to survive?

Where do people get the idea that the movie is intended as portrayal of capitalism, specifically. You can say it's a caricature of social inequality and be done with that.
