This is my swamp, hehe

Genuinely good movie

deserves all the recognition it can get for giving the middle finger to disney

meh. shrek 2 is way better

it's a meme because it's terrible.

it's a broad spoofing of fairy tales not disney specifically

MACARENA LOL

The first two Shreks are genuinely quality movies

you are an imbecile

SOMEBODY

The halloween special is by far the best one in the series second only to puss & boots & the beanstalk starring George Lucas as the beanstalk

Shrek created the gene, so it's good-ness is inversely proportional to your age and how many knock-offs you've seen before it - at the time it was revolutionary

...

>gene

*gene

This

>gene
>gene

*genre

I wanted to hate them, but had genuine feels when Giant gingerbread man died ;_;

it looks cheap and dated but its good movie for kids. The whole shrek fanatism was a meme fortunately, shrek chan had extremely disturbing atmosphere though and the whole site was art

WHAT

Comfy Christmas film, that's about it.

...

>it looks cheap and dated

Bet you say the same about Toy Story

NOW I'M A BELIEVER

To be fair, Toy Story actually looks cheap and dated.

Its pretty good.

Onion monologue is one of the most profound bits this century desu

I watched Shrek 2 on mushrooms and I thought the CGI was real

>questions only genY ask

Lol nice

The first one was okay as children's movies go.
I was never a huge fan.

...

>Shrek 2

Best one

Shrek is more of a Seltzer and Friedberg style reference-fest than it is a satire or even parody of Disney. It's "Not Another Fairy Tale Movie" about 6 or 7 years late. It's kind of garbage.

>when the hidden genius and success of shrek is lost on you

Let's not go nuts here

>Shrek is more of a Seltzer and Friedberg style reference-fest than it is a satire or even parody of Disney.

Nah. Farquaad as a stand-in for Eisner is far more intelligent than anything those two pissants could ever concoct
