Echos in Eternity
it's too long, horribly paced and overacted
I HAVE COME TO RECLAIM ROME FOR MY PEOPLE
troy is better
He won a well deserved academy award with that role
I still want to fuck Lucius.
battle scene is one of best in cinema history.
its aged even worse than nazism
Amazing score, fun flick, "Am I not merciful?!" is probably Joaquin Phoenix's best acted line ever.
The movie has a shit ton of historical accuracy problems but it's a fun watch.
It's great. One of the best kinos of the 2000s.
Women still don't understand it.
Eurocentric piece of trash, there were not NEARLY enough persons of color or women.
This
Maximus should have been black and female, or latina
literally one of the best films ever made
fuck historical accuracy
>"Am I not merciful?!" is probably Joaquin Phoenix's best acted line ever.
It was a good line, but that's being incredibly ignorant of Joaquin's incredible career
>Sup Forums still buttmad that not every film is a white supremacist circlejerk
>there was a dream that was Rome
>it shall be realised
;_;
Goddamnit, it's raining indoors again
Lies. it's one of my mom's favorite films alongside Kingdom of Heaven. Whenever I'm home for a few days we end up watching Ridley Scott movies.
She doesn't like master and commander, that's a film women really don't understand
it's a pretty shitty flick with quite pathetic dialogue.
One of my favourite manly man movies along with Braveheart and the 13th Warrior. I always watch those 3 yearly
...
plot aside, I believe it's actually one of the most historically accurate films every made
One of my favorites.
SHADOWS AND DUST MAXIMUS
so...not at all then?
there were several inaccuracies, such as the existence of the Colosseum, which was not completed until the reign of Titus
