All things considered, he is the GOAT

All things considered, he is the GOAT

goat statpadder

Domebabby

>imagine being this jelly

Thank you San Diego for literally giving us the GOAT

>1 ring

he's a bit of a stat padder

1 ring for the saints is the same as winning 2

yah... in a dome

>Saints start running the ball for once
>Go 6-2
Yeah but everything else is the problem right

>saints defence starts tackling
>win 6 straight games

Whod of guessed

>People are starting to make Brees threads and shit talk the Saints again
Feeling 4 years younger already. Bless you, lads

...

>be me
>Chargernigger
>give away dis cunt for being 'too small'
>wins owl
>well at least it can't get any worse
Death would be a sweet release.

Didn't he had his arm replaced or some shit? Dude is a hero.

>Let the Lions drop 38
>Then face Packers without Rodgers, Bears and Bucs
wow so touch

>Averaging 15 points against on the streak
>b-b-but rodgers injured

Consider suicide

They've played two good teams this year and lost both

>b-but no good teams

Lol same old excuse. Vikings lost to both Dolphins (20-0) and Lions (dropped 52 on them), but theyre a "good team" i guess

Stay mad Falconscuck

So you'd rather lose to a bad team than a good team?

>losing to good teams makes you bad
>losing to bad teams makes you good

Losing to a bad team makes you worse than losing to a good team

Name 1 (one) team above .700 that has had a hard schedule. Ill wait

None have been too tough, but I'd say the strongest would be the Rams

Chiefs is almost there

>Vikings lost to the Dolphins
No you retard, they lost to Pittsburgh. The Vikings put a beating on the Saints that made everyone think they had no chance this season

Winning it all requires a team effort. Brees doesn't work that hard to lose and he doesn't ask for a participation ribbon when he does. He gets out on the field and works hard. He can sleep easy in retirement.

Patriots

>Chargers
>Jets
>Bucs
>

Chiefs are 6-3 with the hardest SoS

>Chiefs
>Saints
>Panthers
>Falcons

Falcons are a .500 team this year and will be worse next week, and two of those teams they lost to

Bears D is elite

This season is amazing so far, Eagles are my team but the saints are second fav, seeing them both do well just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

The Pats' schedule is a fuckn joke the way teams turned out this year.

I mean only those morons that think everything is championships in the ultimate system sport would say otherwise.

>Doesn't have the stats of Peyton
>Doesn't have the rings of Brady
No argument

Hes a sure first ballot hall of famer and even a little bit better than the prevailing opinion is of him but he's not GOAT

Personal achievements will always be overlooked and a hero will be labeled in victory while the concept of team effort is preached. If you don't have rings you never played the game but let me remind you "there's no I in team".

>brees is on the field for defence

When youre putting up 25-30 points a game but your D is lettig up 35-40, there is a time to point fingers and say "its not his fault"

>throw 50 times a game even when winning

Wow so great. How does he do it?

>implying the chargers and jest are bad teams

they're not top 10 teams but they are nowhere near bad.

According to Ringfags he doesn't do it because he still loses throwing 50 times while leading.

>even when winning

What game exactly were they blowing a team out so bad that he should stop doing what hes best at?

Hes thrown over 30 times in 3 games this season. The two they were losing the entire game because AP cant run for shit, and the Dolphins lol

Stats are for losers

>Brady averages 33 passes a game
>"TRUE GOAT THE BEST THERE IS"

>Brees averages 34 passes a game
>"STATPADDING DOME BABBY!"

>team stops making Brees throw a million times a game
>actually manages to control the clock with running the ball

Wooooooow who'da thought that when you stop letting your qb stat pad you actually win games.

>Brees has a career 37 attempt average
>"They stop letting brees throw those 4 times and now their winning, its defintley not the defence learned how to tackle without a bounty"
>Brady averages 34 attempts/game in his career
>"so great..the best there is"

>one wins
>the other doesn't

WOW WHY DONT PEOPLE COMPARE THEM MORE

Also one does it not in a dome.

>one has a decently complete team in a system that can win with Matt Cassel
>one has only offence

I wonder which team wins :/

One also handcuffs his team with a gaudy contract and plays for stats

>muh statpadding

I guess Id rather be a statpadder then a systembabby, since thats the only unbackedup arguement you have

you mean you'd rather be a loser. Brees would trade all his stats for as many superbowls as Brady

>Both he and Rodgers have the same amount of super bowl wins as Namath and Dilfer

>brees carries his team to a ring
>brady either cheats his way or gets carried to a ring

>Brees would trade himself to a better overall team and play the same way

Yeah, probably.

Brees didn't carry them. He was a huge part but his defence that year had, i believe the highest amount of turnovers.

>Brees had a good defence
>Wins the owl despite averaging 34 attempts a game

Wow. What a coincidence.

It's amazing right? When you manage the clock and don't have your defence on the field for most of the time you actually win. What a revolutionary concept.

Yeah, when your defence isnt tackling worth shit and isnt letting up 40 points a game, you sure can do a lot.

And he'll never have a decent defense again because he's got a bloated contract.

>4million higher caphit than Brady

Dunno how good of a D you can get with 4million tbqh

Kay Adams is the GOAT.

Sorry my bad, 5 million. Roughly 2.5% of the cap more

I guess you could get some 2nd rate Safety for 2.5% of the cap.

>One does it exposed to the elements
>One can only do it in a dome

Brees is called a Dome Babby for a reason user.

See Brady is a systembabby for a reason

A small portion of that is because they throw the ball so much. The more you throw, the more possessions the other team will have per game. Throwing also is more likely to result in turnovers, which puts defenses in bad spots occassionally.

Turnovers are the most important stat in football and Brees has thrown a lot more interceptions than Brady

When your OLine gives you as much time to throw as Bradys does, of course you wont throw as many INT. Brady is babied into his stats because the NE management knows how to build a team.
