The allies didn't even recognize the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs and it had to "unite" with the Kingdom of Serbia to form the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes in order to stem Italian terriotiral ambitions (as well as Austrian and Hungarian)
No one promised shit to Croatia and I have no fucking idea where you pulled that from.
Slovenia was split among Italy, Germany and, a small part, Hungary.
