Saw this yesterday.
My body wasn't ready for the finale.
Are there any other spaghetti western that can top this one ?
Saw this yesterday
Once upon a time in the west
The great silence

I watched this and now I feel I have no need to see the film. Am I wrong?

a few more dollars
The concept of a Mexcan standoff was always silly
If it's just about who can draw the fastest, there is no reason in eyeing each other for 5 minutes. It's like they wanted to increase the tension for some kind of unseen audience or something
Amazing film obviously, don't forget to watch the first two as well
>If it's just about who can draw the fastest
more like who is more lucky with those shit guns
Make sure to get the right version, I think the US-studios cutted it down, so it didn't make any sense.
Once upon a time in the west is not like the dollar trilogy. It has less action and more drama
Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
OUATITWest
Duck You Sucker
OUATIAmerica
My Name is Nobody (mostly a shit comedy but has a couple of pure kino scenes)
The Mercenary
The Great Silence

The Big Gundown
Faccia A Faccia
Johnny Hamlet

Okay thanks, yeah I read that there was a studio version that sucks, like Blade Runner. Will check it out.
Dadcore : The Official Post.
I like it tho
Except if there's 3 like in this scene it makes perfect sense. The first one to shoot gets shot by the third. That's why none of them want to draw.
Bronson can't carry like Clint can.
Still doesn't make sense for Clint to wait since he knows he sabotaged Eli Wallach's gun
Also, there's some more Mexican standoffs in the other films where it would make sense to draw immediately
Wiild Bunch, although not Italian.
For a few dollars more is significantly better
...
Why didn't Angel Eyes just shoot Blondie in the back right after leaving that rock there?
...
This OP, this is the single greatest western.
What the fuck man
Because of the chance that Tuco would've shot him
...
Agreed
Try and prove this man wrong Colonel. Just try.
fucking kids these days can't grasp the logic of a Mexican Standoff, holy shit
More like Grandpa core, my grandpa retired and all he does is drive his Silverado and watch Clint Eastwood films on VHs
Gondola made an appearance
Actually no, it is by far the best western ever created. But there are lot of great western from Italy who are near that genius level, "The Great Silence" with Klaus Kinski for example or "Once upon a time in the West". Also great but too unknown, "Tepepa" with Orson Welles.
That beginning with the longshot is so fucking beautiful.
>give the right answer
>get told off
thanks
>Keoma
Great movie with a hilarious soundtrack
My Name is Nobody ending > TGTBTU ending

Not a spaghetti western but great
It's not a spaghetti western, but it doesn't matter. It's the best Western out there.
Friendly reminder the director of Dr. No made a western where Charles Bronson as a bandit and Toshiro Mifune as a samurai on a mission to deliver a sword to President Grant team up to kill a whole lot of people.
thx for the list
Is there any movie with a weapon as perfect as Django's coffin gun? Its reveal is one of the best things Corbucci's ever directed.
sounds pretty comfy desu
