The bottom half of the draw in the Grand Slam of Darts sees two groups with straight shoot-outs and the other two with some confusing permutations.
Group H kicks off with genuine good man Gary Anderson aiming to make it 3 wins out of 3 against ignorant Aussie Simon Whitlock. The pair's behaviour towards Berry van Peer's dartitis couldn't have been any different, with the Wizard complaining of Bionic slowing up on purpose and Gando comforting the young Dutchman. Assuming he hasn't withdrawn, he'll surely try against manic Scot Cameron Menzies although he'll very likely lose to the impressive BDO debutant.
The other BDO star Glen Durrant will be aiming to top Group E; after averaging 105 so far, a similar performance will more than surely put Corey Cadby deservedly bottom of the group. Peter Wright and Alan Norris face off in the straight fight for the last 16, and it would be embarrassing if the #2 seed failed to progress.
Group G is the simpler of the two permutation quartets as based on the weekend's action, Mensur Suljovic and Michael Smith will surely be too much for James Wilson and Mark McGeeney respectively. Bully Boy needs to win 5-3 or better and hope the Gentle picks up 4 legs for them to both advance, otherwise Jammy Dodger is progressing instead.
Group F is the most confusing of the lot, as Stephen Bunting could exit with 4 points if it all goes wrong against Lakeside successor Scott Mitchell. The Bullet will need Dave Chisnall to lose Jeffrey de Zwaan to be guaranteed of a last 16 place, but beating the waddling farmer would help too.
Coverage starts from 7:00pm UK time on Sky Sports Action.
All group stage games are the best of 9 legs (first to 5).

Ha ha, time for /180/. Lineup doesn't look too exciting at the beginning. Gando will dismantle Whitlock, Menzies vs. van Peer we can only hope it doesn't turn into another torture for poor Berry, and Cadby will get his ass whipped by Durrant.
Eli Wilson

>and Cadby will get his ass whipped by Durrant Yes please.

And we're on now.
Wyatt Gomez
Have to give van Peer credit for not withdrawing.

Mardle wrecking Whitlock here for how he behaved against van Peer.
The moment it means something, he can't throw it. Really distressing.

Ian Rogers
That last leg was probably a worse watch than the entirety of the Gando match.
Feel for Menzies but like the Whitlock game, he bottled it.
Elijah Diaz
That was just uncomfortable to

Kek, I will change that filename and keep it for future use. Also. Has anybody the original image in that screenshot? For unknown reasons I failed to save it, and now I think that "Gando the floor bully" has some potential.

Connor Ward
Throws up some funny games does this tourny, in no small part to the PDC/BDO mash up. Expecting this to be entertaining as well
Jackson White
Yup. Got banned in a Sweden Italy football thread. Some Italian dude was attention whoring hard so I said:
>I'm also 12 and craving for attention wanna be friends?
Mods thought a Dutch 12 year old was able to type sentences like that I guess.
Got it coming for being a sarcastic prick all my life.
Lincoln James
This is why the Grand Slam is so good and memeworthy.
Ah yes. Bravo, mods.

Legs won at the 2017 Grand Slam:

Corey Cadby, "the next Phil Taylor": 9 at the most

Is there a chance we see conroy "cringe" cadburry at the WC?
Josiah Phillips
Unless Uncle Barry gifts him a Tour Card then thankfully not.
Josh Payne dumped him out of the World Youth Champs.
Brandon Adams
Never been hugely into Darts, however I like drinking so I've heard its pretty good to attend. Anyone else been before to any big darts events?

Average still rising or thereabouts, sort of a shame its something of a rarity as he does have a lovely action like they say, very similar to Lewis on his A game

DAT BULL TO WIN IT
Xavier Bell
Never noticed before how friendly darts players are with each other.
Angel Cox
Good game that.
Blubby however still showing that he has it firmly in his locker to get the colly wobbles at any moment and almost throw it away despite averaging 105-110 for most of it.
Jack Ramirez
Bully is the opposite of Wade: Wade wins games despite playing shit, Bully loses games despite playing great.
Brandon Cook
To be fair, nobody could have expected McGeeney to fire up like he did at 4-1 down.
Jayden Hall
That filename.
Justin Young
Summed it up nicely himself. Can be on fire for 2-3 legs hitting treble 18 covers for fun, and then look totally average for the next 2-3.
Ayden Martin
I have the horrible feeling Mensur is going to bottle this.
