Tough call, because Russian Ark, Punch-Drunk Love and Juwanna Man, but...

There's no way that is your favorite movie from that year unless you have utter poop taste.

sorry it's not The Dark Knight you faggot.

24 Hour Party People

my movie folder didn't have any other 2002 movies

was that a shitty year or something?

still a pretty respectable choice even if it's by default.

i couldn't remember what came out in 2008. after looking at the top list for that year, nothing really memorable stands out to me. i guess indiana jones was entertaining. i still haven't watched wall-e.

>graduated high school

Ha-ha.... Yeah... I can't think. So long ago... I totally did...

...

Van Wilder and Old School came out that year dude.

The Tree of Life, watched it the day it came out in some hipster theater in LA

Moonrise Kingdom, also one of my favourites overall

Old School is good

24HPP still wins

No favorites from 2005 for me honestly

...

...

all I could find from 2005 is Tideland

and I know a lot of people hate that movie

I don't think I'll ever need to watch it again, but I honestly enjoyed it a ton.

is it good? I hated Zero Theorem.

40 Year Old Virgin came out that year but I wouldn't call it a favorite.

2011 was a terrible year

It's spastic contemporary Gilliam. Unusual perspective, more personal and character driven than ZT. Worth watching. Don't know if good is exactly the right word.

>more personal and character driven than ZT
I liked that. The setting of ZT was good and I liked certain characters but I thought Christoph Waltz was miscast and for the life of me I don't remember anything that happened in regards to the story.

2010 i mean

Woah, 2007 sucked

TDKR

>2007 sucked
sweet bait. In case you're serious:
>Eastern Promises
>Bug
>Shoot 'Em up
>No Country for Old Men
>The Darjeeling Limited
>American Gangster
>In the Valley of Elah
>Who's Your Caddy

Blade Runner

(yes i'm an oldfag)

If you watch it, take his exhortation at the beginning seriously. It's a completely different film if you can project yourself back into your childhood and engage it in the same way as the protagonist. It's pretty crazy and fucked up otherwise, but maybe that's the point.

Tough question...

Cinderella Man, The Constant Gardner, and Sin City popped out at me but I honestly think it's pic related.

>all those shitty movies
>no mention of There Will Be Blood

Is that the only movie you watched from that year?

Yeah I would've included that and No Country For Old Men, for sure. Eastern Promises was great, though.

mulholland drive or fellowship of the ring probably.

i'm old.

Zulu

2nd place Spirit because qt horse.

I also said Revenge of the Sith but I've been thinking on it and there were some movies from 2005 that I thought were really good. Some were just fun like Batman Begins, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, etc... but there were some actually good films that year.

>The Constant Gardener
>A History of Violence
>Capote (If only for watching PSH perform)
>The Upside of Anger
>Memoirs of a Geisha
>Cinderella Man
>Tsotsi

There was some pretty good stuff that year.

Raising Arizona wins for me.

Predator, The Secret of My Success and House II were good in 1987.

>2015
honestly have no clue

2012 was not a good year

I'm 18.

>graduated high school
it's the girl with the dragon tattoo though

Whiplash

Dredd (2012)

Same for me.

...

Same for me

wedding crashers/constintine/kindgom of heaven.

shit my graduation year was THAT bad for movies....

Yeah, the pickings are pretty slim for movies in 2012.

Wreck-It Ralph was was good. Whats-his-face din't ruin Jack Reacher. Dredd had good action. Brave was a good story.

2002

who here /born in 1998/

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Johnny Handsome

get the fuck outta here you fuckface, have you even watched the movie yet

>what is The Master

pure Horror Kino

The best 80s tv series, that's what it is!!

I graduated a year early so I'll go with Spider Man 2.

Its a toss up between Pulp Fiction and Ed Wood.

i never graduated high school

You're so smart, Brewster!

Also:

NEEEEEERD!!!! NEEERRRRD!!!

Did you graduate movies, at least?

...

failed that too

probably this or drive

What came out in 2009? Inglorious Basterds? Then probably this.

Tough call between Casino Royale, Blood Diamond, and The Good Shepherd

Hell or high water

Ant Man
