I was talking to some Indian SJW the other day at uni, and we were talking about the Caste system and how its rooted in religion and also racial differences. This Indian SJW denies it has anything to do with races and the fact that the untouchables were usually significantly darker than higher castes is coincidental, and she tells me it has to do with the fact that the untouchables are outside all day. She even tries to convince me that hindu culture is against racism and cherishes black skin.
Now Im open to being critizised and im probably wrong, but tell me, why is there a significant physical difference between Dalits and upper caste indians if according to most indians I talk to, the caste system has nothing to do with race or skin tone preferences?
funny enough "light skinned" Indians have the some of the same genetics for light skin as Euros although those specific genes only account for 25% of skin tone so it explains why they are still dark compared to Euros.

There are racial caste differences, but there is also straightforward racism. Indians in the southern part of the country are darker than northern Indians, so when a southerner goes to the north he is discriminated against based on the colour of his skin even if he's from a high caste.
