I watched this as a teenager and thought it was weird as shit.
I watched this in my mid-20's after doing copious amounts of drugs and thought it fucking nailed the experience on so many levels. Plus Hunter S. Thompson was a wacky guy and is Depp did a good job of copying his mannerisms, tone, etc.
